Exactly. Finally some people agree with me. Example: Sandow taking Cena to his limits last year, if WWE hadn't destroyed his momentum after the match that would have been Cena helping put Sandow over.

Exactly. Finally some people agree with me. Example: Sandow taking Cena to his limits last year, if WWE hadn't destroyed his momentum after the match that would have been Cena helping put Sandow over.

It's actually one of the easiest ways to put someone from the undercard over - book them against a top talent and have them hold their own even though they lose. It's a win-win situation because the more established guys pick up the victory but the lesser star possibly picks up some momentum and steam from it as well.

He deserves the praise! :yay:

But obviously I have my doubts, feels like we've seen SO many midcarders have competitive matches with the established guys and it never leads to anything.
