Physically, Batista looked outstanding. The guy he fought was awful and this shows us nothing about Batista's future as a fighter, but I doubt he rises far up the ranks. He will probably get an offer from Bellator or Strikeforce if he beats a couple of more cans because his name will draw in a new audience (as shown by this thread)
Pretty much happened exactly how I said it would, except the guy didn't tap to strikes, but it was the same idea.
He needs a few more wins before getting up into Strikeforce which is now owned by the UFC, but I don't expect him to get that far.

I think Strikeforce canned their HW division anyway after the HW GP. Bellator makes sense though. Even if he sucks he can be a draw for them like Kimbo was for Strikeforce on CBS back in the day. Maybe he could be like King Mo as well and be on TNA/Bellator. Talk about a sexy ass win/win. Bellator has a thing talent pool in the heavier weight classes so if they started him at the bottom he could probably slowly work his way up the ladder.

Again, what were you all expecting? His stand up was awful but I see potential in his ground game.
I knew the fight wasn't going to be good. But the fact it was the main event.
Hopefully Batista's next opponent is someone who isn't as grimy as Vince.
