The month of May and therefore the competitiveness of the May Cup has been effected in part with NJPW's Covid-19 spikes. However, as your most fantastic host of the WPC Grand Prix 2021 - I have realised that a wrestling event will take place tomorrow night on FITE TV that features wrestlers that a majority people on this forum will recognise, in what will be an event featuring seven matches in total.

The fifth event in May was a first in the WPC, as our field made predictions on the the Global Syndicate Wrestling show, with all predictors posting a positive differential for this event adding to the overall competitiveness for the month of May. I am able to inform you all that in regard to the WPC Grand Prix Championship, we do have a new winner who has twice been thwarted by having to share the top spot with more than two people. I am very happy to confirm that your....

...is Jimmy King! Jimmy claims the championship for the first time, having come close on a number of occasion. The results from the event are show below:

The scores from this event have shaken up the overall standings. Jimmy King's score of 6-1 has allowed him to bridge the gap with our leaders, whilst Smark's 4-3 has resulted in the control of our early leader being dropped. As predictors have learnt throughout the WPC Grand Prix 2021, consistency is key and the shared score of 5-2 with five other players is all that HoHo needed to break the deadlock and now be the sole leader at this time.

It can now be confirmed that without any further adjustments, the sixth and final event inn the month of May will be AEW's Double or Nothing taking place on the 30th May. With January & March Cup winner Chris, February Cup winner Adapting and April Cup winner Lethal Banks currently ln the bottom portion of the table - it is now guaranteed that we will have a new WPC Grand Prix 2021 cup winner for the month of May with it seeming to now be a three horse race between HoHo, Smark and Jimmy King, although a perfect round from Nimrod could prove to be a difference maker.

I'll stick to events I actually intend to watch most likely, so it's likely only to be WWE events and maybe occasional TNA/AEW. I won't be at the top of any leaderboards but it's all good.
