Also, since @Jeff Valley Driver wants to tag everybody ten ways of Sunday, why did you not find it necessary to tag in @PHEN0M ?

I am here. Busy journalism day yesterday and got home and fell asleep almost immediately.

I'm actually town-leaning on Poyser despite him scattergunning me for very little reason.

Go read back on any game I've played in and you'll realise I am not very active on D1 as there is always too much activity for me in between the work day to keep up.

As I said, it wasn't specific posts that Haza made that made me suss; I just felt he was getting a lot more aggressive and jumpy in his responses than I would expect from him.

I'm not particularly worried about people sussing me at this stage as it'll be pretty easy for me to clear myself if necessary. But it is not worth doing yet.

Further reads from my read back since I was last on:

Poyser seems too willing to get too involved early to be town. IIRC when I played maf with him, he was quieter (I may be confusing him with Odo though).
Haza I still maf-lean, although he continues to jump into defending himself when not necessary whereas maf usually jumps at the opportunity to let other people's arguments take the spotlight.
EV has seemed fine for me. POsting seems relaxed and relatively helpful.
Banez might be more suss than Haza though; He has made a couple of posts which stood out such as the one where he made a vote and was like "i'm not changing" or something where it felt like he was trying to pressure others into going into routes other than him as the day was coming to a close and people would scramble for a vote.
Rugrat has been posting a little strangely, seems to be keeping relatively neutral and padding his post count.
Jeff has felt town. Just good solid posting.
Don't have much of an opinion on guys like Chris and Craig.
Not sure who else I should have an opinion on but the above are the names that I've noted most.

Nothing at all on Barry or Magic?

Seems you brought home some paper from work to continue pushing.

Nope, nothing really.

Which isn't to say I haven't noticed them. I just don't have a read on either. Their posting has been pretty generic for me.

Particularly Magic; I honestly don't know what the difference would be between town and maf Magic tbph.

So your basic theory is, with my first post of the game, I vote my scum mate in Haza, make it plain it was a joke vote immediately afterwards with the :rippedcal emoji, then proceed to invent reasons to keep my vote on him, which then afterwards, people, namely Magic and Jeff, agree with and hop on, all for the intent of looking good off his flip, despite, once again, Haza never having been in any danger beforehand, all based off a very flimsy reason and a complete misread of my town play?

I just want you to put all of this together and place Occham's Razor and ask yourself if this is more plausible than just, "Barry thinks Haza is scum and is just more passive this game".

Which I admittedly am being. Because I'd very much like to guard my opinion and body some folks in this game.

I mean, this is a textbook strawman argument to over-complicate my reasoning behind why I find your behaviour suspiciously.
It's not at all out of question for scum mates to vote each other and mess around D1, you've said yourself that it was a joke vote.

Jeff was already pushing Haza at the time, as you shared with Haza here:

Didn't have a reason, it was a joke vote. Just got tired of voting Jeff every game so decided to switch it up. But that exchange with Jeff gave me some good reason to keep my vote. 8D

Magic did follow up with this however

oh like this actually lmao

The thought of Occam's Razor is a fair one but I think there are far too many different variables in your behaviours for this to just be you playing passively.

I don't think it's a good look the way you raised two posts about Haza then nothing else other than "Please claim, Haza" and some contributory "No buys" posts after it.

:stephena3

Who's arguments was it that got everyone to join the wagon?

Here's the votes on Haza:

Barry - Joke vote

Vote: Haza

Jeff - already pushing Haza prior to your serious reasonings about him.

vote haza

methinks you pretended to read da thread

Magic - did agree to liking your case

you dont think him over-emphasising his vote on you is weird?

idk who to vote so i'll vote haza too

vote haza

Poyser - he said he didn't hate one of your posts directed at me and had been interacting with Jeff about Haza for quite a few posts.

vote haza

ill just help out here as it seems like the best direction tbh

Lawls - again, his own case/thoughts

Going back to this post it's just odd to me that you're reading Magic as null when I'd assume you'd be going after him based on this post. Also the point that Banez made about you saying you were going but then still posting is another point against you tbh.

Vote Haza

Ace Dalton - squirming under the multiple directions at him, you hadn't really pushed at him so can't really take credit for this vote

Haza seems to be squirming quite a bit. Not a fan of his posting so far.

Banez - his own case against Haza

vote Haza

The real question is Barry, why are you trying to take so much credit for the Haza wagon when no vote, bar one really used your two posts as a reasoning to join the wagon

:hmm

The fact that it's the 2nd time you've tried to claim credit for the wagon is weird as fuck to me tbh

Had a fag and a think as well, Barry keeps softing "bodying people" - suggesting he has a killing role.

I'll be sure to body whoever needs it.
Which I admittedly am being. Because I'd very much like to guard my opinion and body some folks in this game.

Something also picked up by @Wang Chung.

What was also picked up in my initial interaction with Barry, was his quick disengagement from me citing "he cba dealing" with me, as well as the quick turn around of finding a reason to maintain his vote on Haza.

Why does someone with a killing role that they're softing try and make themselves look good and claim credit for a wagon to try and make themselves look town? Like, I understand if you're town - you want to look town but why make a scene about it and try to force the opinion?

Especially when Barry makes this comment to me:

When your arguments are of a solid qualitative stance and make sense, you don't need to jam it down everyone's throats to get people to join your wagon. You just need to be patient and let people decide for themselves. If they disagree with you, okay then.

I'd put more chances on Barry being SK as opposed to scum at this point.

Didn't take you a lot of convincing there. Went from saying he's an idiot to following his vote. You're lucky you have the hider claim to save you, for now. Let's not forget you had a very good scum game as motivator and slid by on role usage that was eaten up.

We had 30 mins left of day and i wanted to have a flip over no lynch.

Not really hard to change my mind when nobody wants to lynch Mr. Haza.

No, you've said it's not softing.
What exactly is he doing if he's not softing?

I'm not asking for his claim, I'm just giving updated thoughts on my lean on him.
