It will be great for you guys. It's a great family vechile to go on vacations, great way to save money, has a big space to setup your own meth lab and cook some fresh crystal meth in the middle of a desert etc...

Does anyone know about Dodge Calibers? Found a nice orange one.
My husband was ready to get a 2007 mustang but he don't want stick shift so lol

Very solid car with a good built who are really reliable..
Also very roomy, while it isn't a mega machine.

Down side is that the engine could be very loud, and the car is a bit heavy for a car his size IIRC.

Pros

Versatile interior, available all-wheel drive, wide range of engine choices.

Cons

Sluggish acceleration from CVT-equipped models, low-quality interior materials, unimpressive build quality, several important safety features are optional rather than standard.

There were some rotten apples in it while reading some reviews, but I think you just need to ask the dealer about what the previous owner thought of the car, and maybe important, was something in/about the car the reason he sold it.

I found 3 cars he may want. One is the 2008 Caliber... Then a 2009 Chevy Cobalt LS and a 2008 Nissan Sentra. Any thoughts on them two cars?

Cobalt:

Aside from the hot SS model, the 2009 Chevy Cobalt is behind the class leaders in terms of handling, seat comfort, build quality and overall refinement.


Pros

Respectable fuel economy, smooth ride, quiet cabin, excellent performance in SS trim.

Cons

Cramped backseat, lack of interior storage, dull handling (except for the SS), mediocre fit and finish.

Sentra:

With its exceptional passenger room, the 2008 Nissan Sentra is a reasonable choice for buyers in need of an economy sedan that doesn't feel compact. Just don't expect much in the way of driving excitement, even on the SE-R models.

Pros

Very spacious seating front and rear, straightforward control layout, quiet highway ride, speedy SE-R Spec V model.

Cons

Engine drone gets tiresome with CVT, so-so handling, ride quality can be harsh, manual gearbox's clunky shift action.

4.5 - 5

Caliber:

The 2008 Dodge Caliber is versatile and has some unique features, but a low-quality cabin and underwhelming performance keep this model near the bottom of the small wagon list.
