It was a messy one if I remember rightly, neither sides story really covered them in glory. Wouldn't be surprised if he just did an out of court settlement just to shut her up and to make sure it doesn't pop back up again now he's gaining traction.

that's certainly a thought that crossed my mind. It could have been a two sided abusive relationship as well. I'm not going to judge either people as it's obviously not a black and white issue and I'll never be privy to the actual facts. It's what really sucks about these cases especially when there are no criminal charges. It's lose lose always too, if guilty it's a black eye to the justice system because criminal charges were never laid causing women to maybe not want to come forward. If found innocent, even if innocent, it still a stain on his record and still has the effect of causing less ppl to come forward for real cromes that are already notoriously difficult to convict and rough on the victims. just fucking sucks all around
