Don't know. Maybe in the ring.. I really hope so.

Both had a sort of same beginning of career. Both ''Sexy boys'' and being heel.

Who knows.

I don't get where people are pulling HBK being great on the mic from tbh, he was average most of the time with a few decent heel segments. Yeah anyway he'll not be the next Shawn he'll be the first DZ.

Michaels wasn't one of the all time greats on the mic but I'd put him at least above average. He could carry emotion across well in a promo, a lot better than someone like Bret Hart (average and sometimes even below-average on the mic.)

Imo that was because of his charisma, anger, and facts mixed together.

Honestly I don't really differentiate between the two, heel hitman in the late 90s was on par with whatever Shawn did imo, perhaps average was a bit harsh but some were calling him great and I cant rank him close to that. Somewhere between the two works.

Heel Bret Hart is a different story entirely. Even though it lasted less than a year, Bret did some of his best work on the mic during his heel run at that time (and one of the promos preceding it, when he pushed Vince down and cursed him out on Raw a couple weeks before WM13...)

True, I think that's the way things should go, he's not supposed to be the next anyone but the first himself. Cool.

Thought he already was, for god sakes WWE even gave him the super kick. He's talented enough.

I think it also depends on his relationship with Vince. If he's up Vince's butt like Shawn was, you don't know what kind of opportunities he might get.

Watch the DX segment impersonating the McMahons and you'll see why his mic skills are considered great.

I have, HHH dominated that segment.... His work in Montreal on Hogan and Bret in 05 was a high point but he rarely reached that peak again, this isn't my first rodeo brah.
