in any case, what's so bad about spending ~$50 on tweaked gameplay, 20 new maps, new game modes, a new challenge mode and new weapons? lots of are spending that much on DLC anyway

I'll probably still end up getting it, and if I do, it will be the hardened edition. Comes with the steelbook, all future DLC, COD Elite subscription, theme, avatar outfit, etc. Well worth the $100 right there.

I've been seeing a ton of pro battlefield 3 comments on any news article I read about MW3.
These dudes be takin' these shootin' games seriously...
like now, I guess if I buy the Call of Duty game, I'm a "Sheeple" or whatever cause I'm not on a battlefield3 bandwagon?

Yeah, exactly. Well worth the $40 extra. Subscription alone is that and the DLC will be like $30 at least for probably two map packs. This isn't even including the limited edition steel case which is of value to some collectors and could be worth some money down the road.

It was a pussy gun in both games, especially campaign mode...

...online in MW2, it had alright range, but the damage fucking sucked for one of the most powerful guns in the world. And in COD4, the range and damage were okay but the mobility and accuracy were shit.

I miss the x2 C4/Claymore in the "equipment" thing.
On those basic COD4 maps, I'd hide in a random ass spot and just place those things so when a dude ran by, BOOM!

Yeah, pretty gay in Black Ops that they didn't have multiple claymores because you could fuck shit up big time. Especially if you're on a roll and run out of ammo and you know a claymore is the only way you're buying yourself a few seconds.


They should also change hacker so you can't see EVERY FUCKING piece of equipment from anywhere on a map... actually have to get up on that bitch before it alerts you... I hate that shit, muhfuckas snipe claymores from all the way across the fucking map...


They should also come up with a new Perk, like Infiltration, where you can wear enemy camo... or even just make it a killstreak like a care package once you hit like 12 kills w/o dying... or even make it part of a different prestige level... once you're at prestige 10 or something.


I also hate the fucking ID... you shouldn't be able to see the red or green names unless you're looking down your sights or aiming at them...

It was the most powerful automatic assault rifle in the game. Only two that were better damage wise were the M16 and Famas, both of which were 3 round burst. Tar21 was after the AK in damage.
