In the past few weeks WWE has released Paul London, Lance Cade, Elijah Burke and Kenny Dykstra. I don't know how much money Christian makes but wouldn't it be wiser to let Chrisitan go and then invest the money is these 4 younger wrestlers. I don't know what role Cade would make in TNA but the others could really stock up the X-Divison again. Would you make the switch?

well since I don't watch TNA that much and I want Cage on my WWE Screen, why not? Cage over to Raw or Smackdown whereas TNA in return get Burke and or Kenny + London. Sure they can help the X Division and it will be a win win situation since I don't have to watch them anymore.

If Christian Cage wants out, then I hope he gets the hell out while he can. I think wrestler's work rate isn't as good when they aren't happy, so I would love to see him leave. If he doesn't appreciate what TNA did to him, then thats fine. I'll be glad to see him back in WWE, the same company that jobbed him out and didn't want to push him out of the mid-card but we won't mention that :shifty:

As for who will replace him...nobody. TNA doesn't need to replace him, they have enough depth on their roster to keep drawing even without Cage.

You are on to something, but I think you have things backwards. I tend to believe that the WWE released the smaller contracts to make room for a larger contract, such as one signed by Christian Cage.

I saw a report where Linda McMahon wants to cut 20 million dollar worth of cost in WWE, so I figured the cuts of unused talent was the first move. I don't see the make the kind of comment to the shareholders and then sign a bigger name to a good sized contract.

Well, TNA really doesn't need nor have a place for Christian anymore, so it would be wise to just let him go. As for those four superstars mentioned above...

Kenny Dykstra-I think I speak for most here when I say that WWE really killed him beyond repair. I mean just his ring name alone was pretty gay. His image wasn't that great. He has an annoying voice and he attempted to get over as a cheer leader, a male cheer leader. I think TNA isn't stupid enough to sign this guy.

Elijah Burke-Yes. I see this guy filling the mold of a Booker T, no, not just because he is black. He has a good build and is very athletic. He has fantastic mic skills, but just needs to restart his career since he has been out of action for a long time. Hopefully he can find his way into TNA, this should be TNA's number one signing in the near future.

Paul London-If I am not mistaking, I think Paul London was in an Ultimate X before, so yes, he is welcome back in TNA anyday, he is a great X Division style wrestled when given the chance.

Lance Cade-His tag team run killed him too. Let alone his lack luster apprenticeship to Jericho, he is pretty lame all around. Has no real personality, pretty boring, sure he is big, but so is Matt Morgan. As a matter of fact, Matt Morgan could devour Cade in one bite.

and ya i wish elijah burke could have stayed in the wwe but i think he could be even better in tna... he wont be pushed tho i think... not for long atleast.

and christian will probably come back to the wwe but it wouldnt surprise me if he stayed with tna. hes just gonna come back bad mouthing wwe if he stays. i think hes leaning towards the wwe from what i hear...

Part of me would like to see a return to the WWE but part of me doesn't want TNA to lose such a great talent. but then i think about it and if cage leaves then that will just free up some more room for the younger guys like petey and lethal.

so in the end as long as WWE pushes cage then im tottally for him going back to the WWE.

To answer the original question, I'd say no. Cage > London, Cade, Burke, Dykstra. None of those guys are franchise type guys, and really its more of the same for TNA (WWE Leftovers) Sure Christian is a little stale, but they knew he was likely heading back to the wwe when his contract was up. So in all in all, I'd take Cage in their situation. I'd probably take Burke over the other guys.
