I'm semi-mixed on them making BC Gold a thing. On one hand, it is an established name of a group with the core two members having obvious connections to it and fits since AEW has their relationship with NJPW. On the other: Even if I know Units in Japan work different than factions in America, it seems like a stale brand which desperately needs upkeep in its HOME promotion with the House of Torture being a weird connection, a new leader who is still trying to establish his new identity, Bullet Club needs a shot in the arm in Japan and rebuilding, let alone its own branch in AEW. But I do love the idea of Jay White leading a group with Juice having BC vibes, paying tribute to their roots, while forging a new identity.
If we need allies, apart from ELP coming in, I think there are two routes to go. Semi-established names who could use a coat of paint, or people who AEW want to build longer-term. Thinking of AEW's divisions, I'll not go too bloated, but give each I suggest a purpose.
First, an obvious thing: Jay White is the leader/Ace of the group, the top contender for the world title. Juice can probably be 1B with ELP. More likely to aim for mid-card gold, but can (depending) shoot for a higher belt, though less likely to win.
Tag Team:
I think an obvious answer people suggested was The Gunns. Would be ironic since their dad was a Bullet Club hunter in Japan. They won the tag titles to a mixed reaction but at least exceeded expectations in a short reign. Could a BC coat of paint add an edge? But, one suggestion which could work if someone is healed soon and comes back: Santana and Ortiz. A team who should have been AEW Tag Champs at some point but got side-tracked due to storylines and recently Santana having a bad knee injury, Ortiz on his own now. They could be bitter being left behind. Plus the Bullet Club has had a couple top notch teams enter through its ranks, most notably the Bucks, the Good Brothers, and the G.O.D. I think they can fill their shoes.
Prospect:
Two names I saw float around this are Brian Pillman Jr and Konosuke Takeshita (with Don as a manager). I think those two can work. Brian is fine in the ring (with questionable takes on "cancel culture") but can use an edge. Konosuke is a genuine in-ring marvel and already has some connection for his in ring ability, but some sizzle can go a long way. Shinsuke until an ill-advised heel turn without him winning hurt him, had his entrance and unGodly charisma. Asuka had her streak and mean-streak. Io turned heel and became a beloved anti-hero. I think one of them would be fine, though I am hesitant to add both to avoid getting too bloated since large factions work better in the non-weekly TV touring style like many Japanese promotions over weekly TV.
But, my off the wall pick, Kip Sabian. The forgotten pillar. Keep the madman genius vibes he has, remove the box. Maybe it can help?
Bonus: Women:
If we want a female contingent to this group, then it could work, though I don't think it is needed since the Outcasts are a heel group, and we got Tay Jay for the J.A.S. I don't think it is as required. But if you insist on having female representation... Then I'd cap it at two. Ideally someone with more experience and a prospect. Billie Starks and Skye Blue are two females who have loads of potential. If a heel turn is needed, then one of them could be a possibility. If Kip, an off the wall pick, is in, then Ford is a must. For a more veteran member, I'm not sure Nyla fits, but I'd lean towards someone like Mercedes Martinez. But honestly, it is a hard sell for me.
