What are everyone's thoughts on what Bubba Ray did and how he turned on Hulk and Brooke?

I think he adds legitimacy to the group that desperately needed a front man. He is the man in TNA if you ask me, there isn't a better heel or way to have put the group over without seeming like TNA was chasing it's own tail. The major point being is that Team 3D is back together and with their followers, the Aces and 8's look unstoppable with the TNA World Heavyweight Championship in their clutches. The only thing now is to wait for a worthy challenger to represent TNA and take back the prized posession at Slammiversy.

Yeah I hear ya. They seem unstoppable. TNA (Hulk) will have to figure out something to counter things. I saw Thursday's event today on my DVR and saw how Aces & 8's beat up everyone that they sent out. So they definitely need to figure out something.

Aces & Eights definitely needed it. The turn was always going to happen and they needed to pull the trigger earlier as the Aces & Eights storyline dragged on too long without going anywhere. It is the right move to make Bully Ray heel again because that is what he is best at. It makes the group an actual threat now with him in it, before they didn't really have a big name in the group whereas now they have the top heel and TNA champion.

Whatever happens I just don't want to see Hogan wrestling Ray for the title, Hogan needs to stay out of the ring.

Well most people thoughts of this on this site are already collected in the LockDown! thread and the Impact's last thread. I'd read through those if you want people's initial reactions.

However, my current thoughts.

It's a step in the right direction for the group at least after they revealed member after member over months and months of TV and all the names were just random, WWE rejects and folks inside TNA that can't wrestle anymore(that includes Devon). Yeah, that is how I see the entire stable even if I am a fan of Knux and D.O.C. is turnin' into a damn good big man in the ring.

It was pretty hilarious too how Bully took over the group. I remember Hulk ringside before the SWERVE and he looked like the dumbest, most helpless person I have ever seen. And Brooke looked like a pathetic fool. It accomplished what it needed to do in the end. Aces & Eights will probably now stumble around Slammiversary and end up dissolving between then and Bound For Glory so TNA can then start next year's HUGE storyline.

Yeah I definitely agree. It would be a big mistake for Hulk to get back into the ring with those bad knees and certainly without any backup. They have no one left in that locker room.

Bully Ray would have been fine on his own. I don't think he needs to lead a group that is filled with everybody that WWE didn't want. He's going to be dragged down at this point. The group is going the NWO route and just picking up anybody who wants in. Why the fuck put Briscoe and Bischoff(Was it Bischoff?) in when they literally add nothing to the table? Taz was a good choice, as he is a name that is still well known. He should have been the talker for the group. Devon has certainly stepped up though. But still, it's mostly filled with guys who have no business being in the business right now. But like some people have said, The Dudley Boys are back together. So that's a positive to take in to the equation.

^^Anything he does in Aces & Eights would be impossible to be worse than his face run as Brooke's husband. This is a HUGE step up.

I didn't like the face stuff honestly. Just didn't seem right at all, doesn't help that Brooke was in on it...

Not really a fan if I'm being honest, I think his heel promos are extremely overrated and somewhat boring. All he does it shout and talk really slow, DO...YOU....KNOW...WHO....I....AM? MY...NAME...IS...BULLY...RAAAY. etc
