9:00PM hits on the Eastern seaboard as the screen dims, before vibrant yellow, gold, red and black strokes fill the shot. The TNA logo pops up before we fade inside THE ASYLUM- where over a thousand rabid fans are on their feet, shouting “TNA! TNA!” at the top of their lungs!
The TNA Girls dance in their lair as they start the Christmas season off early, dressed in red Santa outfits with little red and white hats!!
The vibe inside The Asylum is ELECTRIC tonight, as this crowd knows we are only ONE WEEK AWAY FROM THE FINAL FOUR!!! The Asylum shows up tonight, as we have nearly double the attendance inside tonight as we did back over the summer- that damn HVAC guy was costing us the house!
We are greeted by our dynamic duo of Don West and “Professor” Mike Tenay! Both men are anxious to get us going tonight, with their high-pitched voices filled with excitement! Tonight, DOOMSDAY takes on the three men that will step into the ring against NWA World Champ Raven next week- EKMO, SABU and MONTY BROWN!!! We head to the back where
TNA Sheriff JEFF JARRETT is seen alongside Chosen, barging into TNA President Jim Cornette’s office!!
“No, I don’t need to knock anymore. I own half of this office!”
Jarrett shouts as he takes a seat at Dusty Rhodes’ old desk on the side of the room, putting his feet up to show off his new cowboy boots, acting as if he owns the joint
(he technically does). Cornette looks over at him and shakes his head…
“So, partner, I’m thinking about booking a match. 3 on 1 Handicap Match- My Chosen against Dusty Rhodes. If he loses, he is…”
Cornette interrupts Jarrett…
“Let me stop you right there…you DO know that I created the TNA Sheriff job…and I am the one that gave authority to Dusty to book matches. I don’t remember giving you that authority…”
Jarrett is taken aback as he shifts his feet from relaxed to a seated position…
“Yeah, that’s right, Jeff. You serve at the pleasure of the President. So, instead of you going on a power trip, sit back and relax. I have an announcement to make later tonight…”
Jarrett is fixated on every word coming out of Cornette’s mouth…
“One that will hopefully restore the balance here in TNA…and get you out of my damn office for good!”
Cornette stares a hole through Jarrett as Jarrett scoffs back at him, and re-positions his feet sprawled out on the desk…
We head back down to ringside where West and Tenay talk about Cornette still having all of the power here in TNA, while Jarrett looks for a way to gain even more power…
They then shift focus as hype up our next matchup-

They all dance up the entrance ramp as West and Tenay put over The Vegas Trio, and say that although they like to have fun, they still sometimes pick up victories here and there, and that seems to be quite fine with them!!!
We switch gears to a more serious matter, as the camera pans into the parking lot of The Asylum…
WHERE THE THUG POUND IS POSTED UP IN FRONT OF A WHITE CADILLAC ESCALADE!!!
Homicide, Low Ki and Shelton Benjamin all have on tailor-made suits, and they have a lot on their minds tonight. Homicide starts us off…
“AMW, what you did last week…tss…that’s some punk-ass busta shit if you ask me! Pulling the referee out of the ring and costing us a chance at those Tag titles? You two are gonna wish you stayed in the hospital after what we did to you last time you tried steppin to us!”

Homicide and Low Ki both quickly hit the deck as they retreat up the entrance ramp!!! Saturn and Kronus help AMW to their feet, but there is still tension between those two teams because AMW was close to having the match won!!!
For now, The Eliminators are still your NWA Tag Team Champions, but have not only AMW, but also Murderaz Row hot on their tail!!!
We stick around at ringside, as a deranged
JACK FOLEY appears on the entrance ramp!!
Foley still has on the dog collar from last week’s match…and could quite possibly have the same exact clothes on, as well! Foley hobbles down the ramp and enters the ring, demanding a mic!! The Asylum doesn’t know what to think of Foley, as the man they’ve cherished and adored since August is NOT the same man that stands before us at this point in time…
Foley taps into the mic before looking around The Asylum…
“One upon a time…in the not so distant past…I HAD IT ALL…I had a perfect family…I had an entire company behind me…shouting my name as I took that black mask off and beat the daylights out of Steve Corino…those were the days…weren’t they?”
Foley’s grin turns to a frown as he looks down at the ground, all while twirling the steel dog chain still connected to the dog collar around his finger like your Grandma used to do while she talked on the land line phone…
“Just look at me now…LOOK AT ME GOD DAMNIT!!!”
The Asylum doesn’t like Foley’s tone, and subtly begin to boo the mad man…
“Yeah, go ahead, fire up the boo birds…I don’t care anymore! I’m a broken man! Mick Foley died in September…and Jack Foley has one foot in the grave, and another one on a banana peel…but GO AHEAD…BOO ME! BOO ME! BOO OL’ JACK FOLEY!!! I DON’T DESERVE ANYTHING!”
Raven has truly broken this man, as he is now curled up on the mat while shouting…

LOUD for the crazy old bastard as he heads on down the ramp, walking with a bad limp…

Foley looks up at Funk, noticing his best friend…and quickly stands back up…
“Mick, we’re too old for these childish games. You lost a match…so what? You’re still Mick Foley, for Christ sakes!”
Foley shakes his head, disagreeing with Funk…
“See, that’s where you’re wrong, Terry Funk! We can throw the blame around right now…we can blame Raven for shattering my soul…we can blame these fans for egging me on to put my body through the worst pain imaginable…”
Foley looks out at The Asylum before swiftly turning his head towards Funk…
“Or we can blame YOU…because YOU are the reason I’m standing here in the first place!”
Funk takes a second to answer…
“Mick, I never asked you to come back. That war with Steve Corino? That was MY war! I never called you…”
Foley cuts off Funk…
“THAT’S RIGHT! YOU NEVER CALLED ME! YOU FORGOT ABOUT ME! YOUR BEST FRIEND! Is that how a friend is supposed to act? Forget about the man that helped save his career…”
Terry Funk puts the mic to his mouth, but Foley cuts him off once more…
“DON’T…say another word…Just get out of the ring, walk back up the ramp…and go home, old man!”
Terry Funk latches onto that last line, but thinks twice about starting a fight with his best friend…Instead, Terry begins to turn back…Before Funk fully turns his back, he steps towards Foley…

BECAUSE JACK FOLEY LATCHES IN THE MANDIBLE CLAW!!!!
Foley wrestles Funk to the mat as he screams and wails while the Mandible Claw
IS LOCKED IN!!!!
TNA Security rush the ring and attempt to pry Foley off of Terry Funk!! Eventually, Foley lets go of the Mandible Claw and slides out of the ring and falls to the ringside floor…

We shift focus as we get ready for our
CHAOTIC MAIN EVENT- DOOMSDAY UP AGAINST EKMO, SABU AND MONTY BROWN!!!
West and Tenay say that they have gotten word that TNA Security has kept Ekmo, Sabu and Monty Brown a part from each other in separate rooms since their brawl earlier on in the show!!!
Doomsday heads out first, led to the ring by Father James Mitchell!! NWA World Champion Raven, “The Gatekeeper of Hell” Abyss, and Vampiro all head their creepy asses down the ramp and into the ring, all while The Asylum watches in awe of the trio!!!
Ekmo is out first for his team, alongside Don Callis! Ekmo gets about half-way down the entrance ramp before his music is cut off by
MONTY BROWN!!! Monty Brown walks right past Ekmo, bumping his shoulder in the process!!!
The re-occurring theme each week now has become-
“WHERE THE HELL IS SABU?!?!?” and we still don’t know, because he doesn’t get any entrance music, and isn’t out here quite yet…

Monty Brown is done with Vampiro, as he shifts his focus towards Abyss!! Monty cracks Abyss with rights and lefts, but all it does is anger the big man…

West and Tenay begin to sign us off as Doomsday strikes their signature post outside on the floor, facing the ring…Raven is on his knees, doing his signature arms-stretched-out pose, holding the NWA World Title…Abyss flanks Raven to his right…Vampiro flanks Raven to his left….Father James Mitchell stands next to Abyss….
The final scene we see from this chaotic episode is Doomsday STILL standing tall….

Mike Awesome once promised back in September that he would kick Raven’s ass from here to KINGDOM COME…and he is now making good on that promise…..
Another fun one in the books. Next week starts “The Final Four” shows of the year, something I never thought I’d get to. Crazy how fast a year of planning, and six months of writing has gone. We’re back here next week, same time, same place!!! Hope you all enjoy!!!
