All four men are making their debut here in TNA, and all four have been heavily hyped up in their respective territories around the United States!
“Professor” Mike Tenay has (of course) watched all of these guys wrestler before, so he gives us a scouting report for each:
-Austin Aries is seen as a high flyer with a mix of superior technical skills. He is very tough-
-Matt Sydal is a daredevil who is cut from the same cloth as Paul London. He is willing to risk it all-
-CM Punk is more of a tactician. He can fly, but wants to stay on the ground. Very smart and resourceful-
-Chris Sabin is seen to have the highest ceiling of the batch. He is the complete package- aerial assault with a superior ground game-
After we get the scouting report, the official bell rings

Aries and Sydal battle on one side of the ring while Punk and Sabin duke it out in the other corner!
Punk takes Sabin out of the corner and sends him to the opposite side. Aries moves out of the way and Punk crashes into Sydal!

West and Tenay hype up what we’ve all just witnessed, and say that Sabu is back here in TNA for the foreseeable future and will be looking to find himself in a World title match down the line!!!
We quickly cut to the back hallway where we see JERRY LYNN tending to a fallen AJ STYLES!!! Styles lies in a heap on the floor, blood pouring from his mouth. Jerry Lynn takes off his t-shirt and places it over Styles’ face to help sop up the blood…
“Help! We need some help back here! Quick!”
Lynn shouts, as a team of TNA Medics rushes to the scene. Lynn holds his head in his hands, shouting
“NO!” in an angry tone.
TNA President Jim Cornette and TNA Sheriff Dusty Rhodes aren’t far behind, and they quickly see AJ Styles laid out and let out a sigh of anger…
“Who did this, Jerry?”
Cornette asks Lynn. Lynn puts his hands out and shakes his head…
“I have no idea. I was with him ten minutes ago. I went to take a phone call, and when I came back he was laid out. He wasn’t talking. It had to be The Thug Pound!”
Lynn slams his hand against the wall in frustration as Cornette and Dusty look at each other, knowing the #1 Contender’s Match for the X-Title is next!

Dusty stops Lynn…

Lynn nods his head in approval as all three watch AJ Styles being stretchered out… Jerry Lynn looks down at AJ Styles and holds out his hand…

West and Tenay talk about the attack on AJ Styles, and as of right now we don’t know who did it! They speculate that it could have been The Thug Pound, as Jerry Lynn suggested. They took out AMW last week and it isn’t a secret that Shelton Benjamin has been ducking AJ Styles ever since he won the X-Title.
They also float the idea that possibly Raven and Doomsday took out AJ Styles, seeing that Raven said in the beginning of the show that HE would be the one choosing his next opponent…nevertheless, we stick around ringside as we get ready for

Jeff Jarrett and Roadhouse James begin to strut through the backstage area as the camera follows them until they emerge through the curtain! Jarrett grabs a live mic in his travels as he yaps all the way down the entrance ramp…
“Cornette, Dusty…let’s make one thing crystal clear. Never forget who REALLY runs things around here! You can try and power play me all you want, but at the end of the day…I AM THE KING OF THE MOUNTAIN…not you two!”
Dusty and Cornette race down the entrance ramp and rush the ring while Jarrett and James smirk at their superiors…
“What are you gonna do? Fire me? You can’t! And you know that! I’m untouchable!”
Dusty grabs a mic while Cornette fumes in the corner of the ring…Dusty confidently walks right up to Jeff Jarrett…
“Boy, when are you gon’ learn that I don’t quit? The stunt you pulled backstage to get out of that match…that only bought you seven days…And I know both Rhino and Ken Shamrock want to fight right now, so I really know they will both be ready next week…WHEN YOU TAKE ON BOTH OF THEM…IN A HANDICAP MATCH!!! WITH GOOD OL’ DUSTY RHODES AS THE SPECIAL GUEST REFEREE!!!”
The Asylum pops at the announcement from Dusty Rhodes! Jarrett, on the other hand, is beside himself as he shouts “NO!” to anybody and everybody…
“Two can play that game, Jeff. You have officially been put on notice. So go on and enjoy your night, reap the rewards of your fool-proof plan for this week. You want this Sheriff badge? You gon’ have to pry it from my chest, baby!”
Dusty drops the mic as he and Cornette head back up the entrance ramp, while Jarrett and James stay inside the ring, pissed off!
Jarrett kicks at the ropes while James begins to formulate a plan for next week, but as of right now, it certainly doesn’t look good for Jeff Jarrett as

We head over to an abandoned lot directly next to The Asylum…the cool Autumn air whistles across while a few trees shed their leaves. Over in the corner of the lot is a single piece of steel cage, and behind it…
STANDS JACK FOLEY!!
The camera inches closer to Foley as he holds onto steel cage…
“I really thought my wrestling career was over. I was damaged goods. I was deemed a ‘legend’ instead of a ‘superstar’ and I said to myself, you know what Jack? Maybe it’s time to listen to them. Your body doesn’t work the way it once did…Your legs don’t move anymore…Your arms can’t reach…your eyes can’t see as they once did…Jack, you’re just a broken down shell of your former self…”
Foley slams his head into the steel cage…
“And so I went home, and just like you said last week, Steve Corino, I sat on my couch, ate my Cheetos, gave up on everything…Until I turn on the television one Wednesday night and what do I see? Steve Corino assaulting MY BEST FRIEND IN THE ENTIRE WORLD-TERRY FUNK! And part of me said Jack, just let it go. You’re a ‘legend’ now…BUT BY GOD I WASN’T GONNA LET YOU DESECRATE THE GOOD NAME OF TERRY FUNK!”
Foley shakes the cage with an ever-growing rage…
“Steve Corino…you did this! YOU DID THIS! You brought out a side of me that I haven’t seen in quite some time…so tonight…when that steel cage door closes…you’re not stepping into the coliseum with a playful light-hearted father anymore…you’re stepping into the coliseum with A DERANGED LUNATIC WHO WANTS NOTHING MORE THAN TO WATCH YOU BLEED!”
A trickle of blood forms in the center of Foley’s forehead as he presses his face up against the steel cage, a smirk forms across his face…
“See you in hell, Steve Corino! BANG! BANG!”
We get one last shot of Foley smirking before the camera fades out…
We cut over to Goldilocks, who is ready to conduct her last interview of the night…with
STEVE CORINO!!! Corino, flanked by Malice and Jack Victory, is geared up and ready for this war. He wears a pair of blue jeans, brown cowboy boots, and sports a white t-shirt with the words
“DUDE LOVE SUCKS” across the front in black ink, paying a mockingly homage to Terry Funk’s classic “Dusty sucks eggs” t-shirt from back in the day.
Corino stands stoically as the words Goldy is asking him seem to just go in one ear and out the other…
“I didn’t sign up for this match…and I never picked a fight with Jack Foley…but now that I’m somehow stuck in the middle of this thing…Foley…you’re not the only one that can get hardcore…no…see…my hardcore ends up with your best friend wearing MY BRAND for the rest of his putrid days…my hardcore ends up with YOU IN THE HOSPITAL!”
Corino begins to pace back and forth, adrenaline blasting with each word…
“Tonight, Jack Foley, I unleash a brand of hardcore that has never been seen before…a brand of hardcore that might get TNA pulled from the airwaves…and I didn’t ask for any of this…but I’m damn sure ready to unleash it…and when all is said and done and I walk out of that cage with my hand held high in the air…just remember…I AM the measuring stick here in TNA…and you’ll be nothing more than a forgotten legend…”
Malice and Jack Victory give Corino high fives as they send him off to battle, and Goldy sends it back down to ringside for OUR HUGE MAIN EVENT!!!
The camera pans to the ring where
the cage has been pieced together with duct tape, zip-ties and toothpicks by the TNA Ring Crew has been lowered from the rafters…
West and Tenay hype up this insane main event, and say that Total Nonstop Action may never be the same by the time this show is over!

Steve Corino heads out first to
ABSOLUTE NUCLEAR HEAT!!! The Asylum
DESPISES this man, and let him know it with obscene hand gestures and jeers! Corino shrugs off the heat as he slowly climbs up the steel steps and enters the steel cage, while West and Tenay say that the Steve Corino we know at this moment in time will officially change forever as he steps inside the ring!!!
Jack Foley is out next to a
THUNDEROUS OVATION from The Asylum! Foley has on his classic “Wanted: Dead or Alive” t-shirt and leopard-print pants as he lugs two trash cans filled with various items and weapons with him. We zoom in on Foley’s face to show the trickle of blood from his promo, still fresh on his forehead. He tosses both trash cans inside the ring and climbs in.
Foley stands stoically inside the ring as he stares a hole through Corino, who plays it cool and bounces around, staying loose. Foley soaks in The Asylum’s ridiculous pop and gives a quick smirk before turning that laughter into complete terror…
THE BELL RINGS…
WE ARE READY FOR WAR!!!
Steve Corino comes firing out of the gate, connecting with a knee to Foley’s head!! Corino then smashes Foley across the back…
CORINO SENDS FOLEY FACE FIRST INTO THE STEEL CAGE!!!
He holds onto Foley’s head…
AND BEGINS TO GRATE IT BACK AND FORTH ACROSS THE CHAIN LINKS!!!
Foley lands on the mat as blood begins to pour from his forehead!! Corino stomps on Foley before he lifts him up and sends him off the ropes. Foley bounces back, and with Corino near the opposite side…
STEVE CORINO BACK BODY DROPS JACK FOLEY INTO THE STEEL CAGE!!!
Foley scrapes his back on the cage while he is sandwiched in-between the ropes and the cage!
Corino takes a moment to soak in the jeers from The Asylum as he begins to taunt Jack Foley!! He reaches into the trash can and pulls out
A SINGAPORE CANE!!! He reaches back in and pulls out a
STEEL CHAIR!!! He then tosses the chair on the mat as he holds onto the Singapore cane…
Corino takes a few practice swings with the cane before dialing up his target…
CORINO DRILLS FOLEY IN BETWEEN THE EYES WITH THE SINGAPORE CANE!!!
Foley falls to the mat, but smartly grabs the chair. He turns back around and Corino is waiting to smack him again…
BUT FOLEY USES THE CHAIR AS A SHIELD…AND THE CANE SWINGS BACK AND HITS CORINO IN THE FACE!!!
Foley gets up to his feet…
FOLEY WITH A WICKED CHAIR SHOT TO STEVE CORINO!!!

Foley gets up and grabs one of the two tables that have been lodged in between the ropes and cage this entire time! He sets the table up, but you know this sadistic man isn’t done yet. He reaches into his trash can…
FOLEY PULLS OUT A STRING OF BARBED WIRE…AND BEGINS WRAPPING THE TABLE!!!
BUT WAIT! THERE’S MORE!!!
Foley then reaches in and comes back out
WITH THE DREADED SACK OF TACKS!!!!
Foley sprinkles half of the bag of tacks on the table, but before he can do anything else…
CORINO SLAMS FOLEY’S HEAD INTO THE TABLE…AND FOLEY’S HAIR CATCHES ON THE BARBED WIRE!!!
Foley responds by yanking the barbed wire out of his hair…
AND RUBS IT INTO STEVE CORINO’S FACE!!!!
The barbed wire is now stuck in Steve Corino’s hair!!!
Both men collapse, but Foley is able to get up first, and stomps on Corino to keep him down! Jack then reaches into the trash can…

Corino, with the picture of Terry Funk still stapled to his forehead, his hand half-bitten off…is in fight-or-flight mode right now and wants to fly as far away from this cage as he possibly can…begins to climb up and get away from Jack Foley!!
Foley follows Corino up the cage as the two begin to smash each other’s heads off the top of the cage!!
Corino blocks a punch and

The Asylum hasn’t sat down since this one started! Both men are completely out cold. The picture of Terry Funk stapled to Corino’s head finally tears away, while Foley is engulfed in barbed wire and thumbtacks!
Corino begins to slowly crawl towards the cage door, but Foley grabs a hold of his leg at the last second! Corino tries to kick off of Foley, and makes it to the door, but Foley grabs a hold of the door…
FOLEY SMASHES IT INTO CORINO’S HEAD!!!
Corino stumbles back as Foley slowly walks towards him. Foley picks up the sack of tacks and dumps the remaining thumbtacks into a nice, neat pile, before grabbing Corino…
FOLEY WITH A PILEDRIVER INTO THE TACKS!!!
The thumbtacks get stuck in Corino’s head and neck as the camera zooms in to show the damage!!!!
Foley calls for referee Rudy Charles to slam the door shut and lock it, because

Foley sets up the other table and places the unconscious Steve Corino onto it, before ascending to the top of the cage! Foley is basically at the top of the cage, and hangs onto the steel chain supporting the cage from above. The Asylum is on their feet as Foley looks down and smiles…

Raven, NWA title wrapped around his waist, does his arms stretched out pose as Foley charges at Vampiro and Abyss, who take him down easily. Raven sets up two chairs facing each other as Abyss and Vampiro hand Foley on a silver platter to Raven…

West and Tenay begin to sign us off as the credits begin to roll…they are not happy about how the show has ended, but tell us Raven did say he would choose the biggest threat to his NWA World title reign…

INSANE edition of TNA is Doomsday standing tall with Jack Foley lying motionless right beside them…
Raven called his shot, and deemed Jack Foley is his biggest threat…However, this isn’t the same Jack Foley that walked into tonight’s cage match…and Raven has picked a fight with a man so unhinged and detached from reality, he doesn’t know kind of war he is getting into…or maybe he does?...
BT NOTE: Really had a lot of fun with this one. It might be my favorite episode I’ve written thus far. The train keeps humming along next week, same time, same place! Hope you all enjoy!
