Monday Night RAW #1423 - August 31, 2020​

It’s the night after Payback, but tensions continue to escalate between members of the Church and La Invasíon. After “the Head of the Church”, Seth Rollins fell to Drew McIntyre in a No-Disqualification match, now it’s up to Andrade and Los Lotharios to knock the WWE World Champion from his mantle. “The Scottish Terminator” has recruited Ricochet and Cedric Alexander for the task - but will a wounded McIntyre be able to overcome the adversity of “El Capo” and the cousins?

It appeared that “the Monday Night Messiah” was on the downturn after failing once again to become WWE World Champion at Payback. Now, Seth Rollins was scheduled for action against Rey Mysterio. Would the descent of “the Head of the Church” continue, or would “the Legendary Luchador” suffer an agonizing defeat?

Edge demanded Randy Orton to answer his challenge last week in his return to Monday Night RAW. What started the night after the Royal Rumble in January looked to be in its closing stages as “the Rated R Superstar” demanded one final encounter to settle the score once and for all. With “the Viper” in the house for the first time since SummerSlam, what would Orton have to say to his arch rival?

Charlotte Flair surprised everybody when she joined forces with Shayna Baszler to retain the RAW Women’s Championship at Payback against Asuka. With “the Empress of Tomorrow” now no longer eligible to challenge for her title, “the Queen” was expected to explain her newfound alliance with “the Queen of Spades” - but what might Flair’s thought-to-be allies the Iiconics, or Nia Jax for that matter, have to say?

PLUS, the WWE United States Champion hosts ‘the Kevin Owens Show’ with his special guest Matt Riddle…Samoa Joe puts the WWE 24/7 Championship at stake against R-Truth…Bianca Belair battles Natalya…Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch do battle with the Viking Raiders…Omos looks to continue to plunder the competition.

WWF RAW IS WAR #359 - April 10, 2000

The odds continue to be stacked greatly against The Rock, in his pursuit of the WWF Championship. The McMahon-Helmsley Faction looks to ensure that “the Brahma Bull” finds himself incapacitated once and for all, but what will Vince McMahon have in store for him tonight?

Chris Jericho may have made a crucial mistake in remarks made to Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley on SmackDown!, but will he suffer a similar fate to that of The Rock at the hands of Triple H and the boss’s daughter?

The Acolytes proved to have Kane’s back against the forces of the Big Bossman and Bull Buchanan last week, which went returned by “the Big Red Machine”. Now, the Bossman and Buchanan will enlist the services of a partner to do battle with the three fearsome foes in six-man tag team action.

The hottest new couple on the scene in the World Wrestling Federation were revealed last week, when Eddie Guerrero shacked up with “the Ninth Wonder of the World” Chyna. Now, the new WWF European Champion faces his toughest challenge to date when he must defend the title against the 400-pound Rikishi Phatu.

PLUS, Edge and Christian are scheduled to put the WWF Tag Team Championships up for grabs against Al Snow and Steve Blackman…Kurt Angle battles the Godfather in a rematch from SmackDown!...Terri plans to bury the hatchet with the Kat by treating her to a spa day…Viscera and Hardcore Holly do battle with the WWF Hardcore Champion Crash Holly sure to not be far away.

NXT #420: Super Tuesday - September 1, 2020

For two weeks only, NXT invades Tuesday nights with a very special Tuesday special!

The NXT Championship remained in possession of Finn Bálor, triumphing over Adam Cole in a gruelling 60-minute Iron Man match at NXT TakeOver XXX, when who would come out to make their intentions clear, than the demonic Karrion Kross. With the challenge thrown down, "the Tollman" would receive his shot at "the Prince's" title - but who would come out victorious?

It was elementary that even after the Triple Threat match at NXT TakeOver XXX, Dakota Kai would remain on the trail of the NXT Women's Champion. Io Shirai prided herself on being the fighting champion Charlotte Flair wasn't, which was why ten days after the big event, with Rhea Ripley undoubtedly watching, "the Genius of the Sky" would grant "King Kota" another title opportunity.

It had been months since the Undisputed Era had held the NXT Tag Team Championships, and now Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly were back and looking for vengeance. Scheduled to take on Ever-Rise with the titles on the line, would Fish and O'Reilly become record-setting four-time champions, or would Matt Martel and Chase Parker slither away in victory again?

PLUS, they had torn the house down before, and tonight would do it again - Timothy Thatcher and Bronson Reed would go to war in a rematch from two weeks ago. Who would prevail as the better man?...Keith Lee looked to regain momentum after losing the NXT North American Championship to Ricky Starks, taking on Tiger Ruas...Dexter Lumis would engage in a meeting of the minds with another imposing figure out to prove himself, Cezar Bononi...Cameron Grimes looked for retribution after being insulted by Chris Bey.

The reign of terror of 2023 is over Tyrus drops the NWA World Championship to EC3 and is forced to retire from wrestling. Billy Corgan looks to move forward claiming that NWA will become the next great company. However, backlash, a series of fights backstage, and pressure to step down come to fruition as another celeb comes into the picture. A man who has already once righted the wrongs of a past mistake David Arquette. David buys a majority stake in NWA and while he loves the business he understands he can't do this alone. He looks to a man from NWA to take over the day-to-day activities in former Four Horseman, Tully Blanchard as Booker of the set company. A complete overhaul is coming and only a handful of names make the cut. Can these two bring prestige back to NWA or will once again this just be another in a long list of disappointments of a once great territory being taken out to pasture?

Tully Blanchard already made a big move before he even stepped into the NWA studio. He comes to an agreement with OVW to have a working relationship and that NWA may use the struggling company as a developmental.

Friday Night SmackDown #1098 - September 4, 2020

With a fearsome new alliance formed between Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman, and a new WWE Universal Champion crowned last Sunday at Payback, "the Big Dog" plans to address the WWE Universe with why he decided to strike a deal with the devil himself. What will happen when the thought-to-be incorruptible reveals his true self to his millions upon millions of fans?

"The Boss 'n' Hug Connection" died an agonizing death as far as the SmackDown Women's Champion was concerned, when Bayley and Sasha Banks lost the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships to the Riott Squad at Payback. After destroying the remnants of their storied companionship, and taking out "the Legit Boss" five days ago, Bayley will address her actions with a message for Sasha.

"Johnny Wrestling" pulled off a miracle at SummerSlam when he defeated Daniel Bryan to capture the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Now out to prove himself as being "the Working Man's Champion", Johnny Gargano grants "the Yes Man" his rematch, as he looks to gain his respect.

PLUS, ten-man tag team warfare sees the forces of the SmackDown Tag Team Champions Heavy Machinery and the three members of the New Day team up with Braun Strowman, to engage in battle with the ranks of both Fight Night and the Royal Family...Jeff Hardy looks to bounce back from Payback's defeat against Dolph Ziggler...John Morrison plans to speak to the people.

Last week saw a new WWE World Champion crowned at the least suspected moment, as Bobby Lashley cashed in his Money in the Bank contract to defeat Drew McIntyre, who was mortally wounded from a serious string of contentious matches. With ‘the Era of the All Mighty’ expected to be ushered in in an official coronation from Team Lashley, what would the new champion and his group have to say?

Randy Orton’s frequent attacks on Edge had led to Zack Ryder looking to once again make a name for himself. “The Long Island Iced-Z” had taken on the unenvious task of taking on “the Apex Predator” one-on-one, with Edge sure to be watching. After refusing Edge’s request for one final encounter, who knew what “the Viper” had to be thinking - but the WWE Hall of Famer had to be watching.

K-Bro’s continued issues with the O.C. as a group brought them to get the band back together one more time in a two-on-three Handicap match against the likes of AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. With the WWE United States Championship remaining in the sights of “the Phenomenal One”, how would Kevin Owens and Matt Riddle fare with the numbers game working against them?

Clash of Champions: Gold Rush awaited on Sunday, September 27 - but in order to get there, four tag teams would vy for the right to challenge Theory and Murphy for the RAW Tag Team Championship. Who would come out victorious when AOP, Ricochet and Cedric Alexander, Los Mysterios and Los Lotharios met in a Fatal 4-Way elimination tag team match?

If anyone's interested in the PPV I just finished (SummerSlam 2018), I put a lot of effort to get back into it after a rough few months.

The main event is centered around Edge's return from injury after 7+ years to challenge Christian for the WWE Universal Championship. The show also has Charlotte versus Sasha, Ambrose versus Rollins, and a Triple Threat TLC Match to name a few.
