Yep. Can’t tell you how many people I seen on Twitter who’s all over Punk’s nuts but if you look at their Twitter history, they was talking shit about him at late as All In. it’s why I at least give credit to guys like Smark and Jimmy who’s been with Punk through the highs and lows because they at least like the guy no matter what.

When asked if it was a difficult move to fire Punk, Danielson said that it was.

“Absolutely, yeah,” he said. “I have a lot of empathy...and I am grateful of the time he spent in AEW and he did a great job for us, so yeah, I wish him the best in his future and I hope he goes well.”
