Brodus Clay

Brodus Clay debuted in Season 4 of NXT as a rookie with Ted DiBiase and Maryse as his pros. During the season he won the chance to change pros and he picked Alberto Del Rio. Clay finished second in that season but then worked as Del Rio's bodyguard until Del Rio was drafted to RAW in April whilst Brodus Clay remained on Smackdown. His last appearance was on May 1 at Extreme Rules when he tried to help Del Rio win the World title but was unsuccessful.

After that he disappeared for three months but this was due to him filming a new WWE Horror Film called No One Lives. He returned to Superstars at the start of August and ever since then he has been winning squash matches on Superstars whilst video packages of his dominance have been shown on RAW, Smackdown and NXT. He has been hyped for quite some time now and I can't wait to see what WWE do with him when he returns to the main roster. He is listed as a Smackdown roster but as we know wrestlers can appear on both brands these days.

What would you do with Brodus Clay when he returns to the main roster? Would you have him squash jobbers/midcarders on RAW and Smackdown or would you put him into a proper feud? Who would you have him fae? Would you have him wrestle on both RAW and Smackdown or just Smackdown? Would you have him near a title like the Intercontinental or United States Championship?​

What would you do with Brodus Clay when he returns to the main roster? Although he's listed as a Smackdown superstar, I've read that he's going to be used on Raw instead. I can't really remember why, and although I don't like when the WWE blur the lines between brands, it's probably not a bad idea. All I'd do is start having him compete against actual WWE Superstars.

Would you have him squash jobbers/midcarders on RAW and Smackdown or would you put him into a proper feud? I'm over hearing about him squash some jobber on Superstars or in a Dark Match. I'd have him show up on whichever brand and attack somebody, setting up a feud... somebody being a fucking WWE Superstar.

Who would you have him face? Not really sure. At the moment anyone would do, but within reason. Don't have him feud with fucking Hornswoggle or whatever.

Would you have him wrestle on both RAW and Smackdown or just Smackdown? Considering how much hype there has been surrounding him, the WWE should capitalise by having him appear on both brands. Although a lot of WWE Superstars are doing that anyway, it'd be more beneficial if it happened to someone like Clay.

Would you have him near a title like the Intercontinental or United States Championship? Eventually, yes. I think the guy has great potential, regardless of the fact he's quite large. Anybody that says he's crap just because he's fat and slow has no fucking clue as far as I'm concerned. In my eyes, he's the next "big" big guy in the company.

What would you do with Brodus Clay when he returns to the main roster? I would put him over big in his return and I would use him on both brands. They have hyped him up a lot and surely this means that he is going to be pushed strongly when he comes back.

Would you have him squash jobbers/midcarders on RAW and Smackdown or would you put him into a proper feud? Give him as much exposure as possible and give him as many wins as possible in as short a time as possible. To start with I would give him a couple of easy wins over midcarders on both brands and then I would place him into a proper feud.

Who would you have him face? If they book him as a RAW superstar then I would put him against Mason Ryan and if he is a Smackdown superstar then I would put him against Ezekiel Jackson.

Would you have him wrestle on both RAW and Smackdown or just Smackdown? Definitely both brands. Give him as much exposure as possible and have him win on both brands so that fans consider him a threat.

Would you have him near a title like the Intercontinental or United States Championship? He has actually dropped a lot of weight in the past year and so WWE know that he is dedicated and I am sure he will keep getting in better shape. I don't think his size is an issue because he moves alright for a guy that size, he is more agile than someone like Viscera. I would eventually get him into the midcard title scene. First give him a feud against a big guy on the brand like Mason or Ezekiel and then move him into the title scene.

Have him attack Mason Ryan, why the fuck not? A powerhouse vs. A powerhouse. This would be great to do in my opinion.

Would you have him squash jobbers/midcarders on RAW and Smackdown or would you put him into a proper feud? Proper feud with Mason Ryan or Alex Riley even.

Who would you have him face? Alex Riley or Mason Ryan. Just makes sense for me seeing they're the faces on RAW. Wouldn't have him against Ryder or Air Boom.

Would you have him wrestle on both RAW and Smackdown or just Smackdown? A bit of both, have him face guys like Gabriel, Barretta and such and build him up a bit.

Would you have him near a title like the Intercontinental or United States Championship? Love what Aniking said, this guy's under-rated and ACTUALLY can wrestle.

I do think that eventually we will see a showdown between Brodus Clay and Mason Ryan. Mason Ryan was brought back in a similar fashion where he squashed some guys on Superstars and then came back to RAW as a face that was winning matches in the midcard and even featured in the RAW mainevent. Bring Brodus Clay back in for a month or two and then have those two cross paths to battle it out.
