Wasn't it the first time at Summerslam? I have a hazy mind.

Lots of times in the early 2000s, for example:

Rock Brock wouldn't be as great as people make out but hey I'm not a huge fan of their Summerslam match from 02 so that could factor, I want Brock in a stiff as fuck brawl, why on earth is Hero on NXT still?

Neither were 1 on 1

So you'd rather see the other two over Rock/Brock? Objectively, it would definitely outdraw Brock/HHH II and maybe even a Cena/Rock rematch as well.

No, I presumed you meant in general it would be more appealing and more successful. I would prefer Rock/Brock over those two but I wouldn't really care about Rock/Brock either... It's something we have seen in the past numerous times headlining the present, I don't care about those, they're not the future of WWE.

I highly highly doubt Rock/Brock would be close to how successful Rock/Cena would be (and has been).

A mainstream Hollywood star versus UFC's biggest draw (Summerslam proved Brock can draw with the right build) would get a lot of publicity and draw in a lot of non-wrestling fans, which is what Wrestlemania tries to do. The fact that their both leaving after WM and/or the fact that it wouldn't be for the belt (like Rock/Cena most likely will be) is the only thing that makes it unappealing.

We're just going to have to agree to disagree. Cena/Brock should have waited until Wrestlemania, Rock/Punk could have been a WM match (not sure how it would do though).

Buried? Really?

Alright, I think I overreacted with that, he didn't bury Punk but still, H going over was a joke...

Not buried, but if you were told before Lesnar returned that they were thinking of having Lesnar return, lose to Cena in his first month, beat HHH but then lose to him again at WM would you have been as excited as you were when he first came back? I think it's been a tragic waste of a fantastic talent and opportunity. I understand the need to set up dream matches to sell big PPV's, but use his appearances wisely and you could have had both.

They used him the worst way possible imo...

Brock Lesnar vs The Undertaker, HBK vs HHH, The Rock vs Cena. You have your three main matches then you have wrestlers such as Dolph Ziggler, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Shelton Benjamin, Mark Henry, Christian, Kane, Rey Mysterio, Sin Cara, Ryback etc.

Come to think of it, so would I. It'd be nice to see a wrestler actually let their career end on a high note and actually mean it when they say they've retired.
