You are a Roman fan and that is fine but a majority of fans are sick of him. Not because of who he is or his character (some do legit hate him for those though) but for how he was booked and has been booked for like the last 3 years.

Sure, but do the people who haven't enjoyed his booking for the last 3 years enjoy the rest of the WWE booking in the last 3 years? Because if so, then they can shut the fuck up with their complaints because the rest of the roster and feuds have been handled even worse. In all honesty, the only thing they've really fucked up with Reigns from a story perspective is giving it to the dude for what, 3 very short unimportant reigns now? Can't exactly get a guy over as a face with a chase storyline if they cave and give it to him every chance they feel feels right. That's why I feel what they are doing this year, by prolonging his actual winning of the title, is the first major thing they've done right with the guy since his initial singles push
The major booking problem they have done with Roman is not giving him any character development.
I have issues across the board so I am going to continue to kick, whine, and throw toys at my mom in Walmart because it just isn't entertaining to me. If I don't complain, then I wouldn't be here talking about wrestling at all at this point lol I get why people would be happy with this but to me, they had a few wasted opportunities to get him over as a solid heel and they pissed it away.
They are on the edge of making him a big heel, but I don't think they see it. Rollins beats Brock. Roman gets jealous, fucking simple. Sounds like its going to be another missed opportunity

show off the strengths and cover up the weaknesses. You don't need to be the full package to be a star. Benoit wasn't charismatic on the mic but he had that vibe. Roman has that vibe. I don't blame WWE for pushing him, you be dumb not to. But they have done such a shitty job and they are just gonna continue to do the job until it's done.
That would actually be really good for him but you know when it is something that sounds great to fans, WWE trie to just firmly shove into the toilet and flush.

Reigns has all the talent in the world to be the actual face of the company. And by all rights he should be, he has the looks AND the skills to bring him to that position, not to mention all the other stuff he has going for him. If Roman were to quit WWE today and show up at Evolve or ROH or NJPW next week, he would be amongst the top liked guys in a matter of months, if not weeks. It's WWE's most-of-the-time-nonsensical booking that makes him as hated as he is, that paired with both the "anti-establishment" and "cheer the heels" mentality that most modern fans seem to thrive off of. I am not a fan of the indies just to "go against the grain" I'm a fan because guys are allowed to actually showcase all of their skills, be it in or out of the ring.
Roman is what I like to call the "CJP that never was and probably never will be." Much like CJP, he has all the skills and looks to be a major star, but without proper chardev he will never amount to anything. With how much WWE has invested into him, be it time money etc, they have almost no choice at this point to write things for him that finally build to something or actually make sense, and I am willing to give them that time to correct their past mistakes. Much like how people started finally putting Cena over as a great worker once he started wrestling the indie darlings with the US challenge, even though he was great before that, they will eventually find something for Roman that will showcase what he is able to do and have him be loved for it. Hopefully it is sooner rather than later, as seemed to be the case for Cena

Yeah that is so true he would be massive in the indies. The problem is not Roman its WWE, I think that's an established point.
