It'll probably be like that for a while with the return to live fans. I think Britt will eventually get back to that more traditional heel role once the novelty of live fans dies off a little and they aren't just excited to see everyone. In the meantime though I don't think making a dig at WWE to pop the smarks (aka 98% of AEW's audience) is the most judicious heel move I've ever heard of.

fair enough. as i said, im part of the fan base that found the saudi deal distasful and one of the many reasons i abadonned the product, so it popped me. You are probably right that it isn't the most heel move but working the smarks is just a thing now I guess. I understand why not everyone will enjoy it though.

Regarding fans, I agree. there's a honey moon period right now with the live crowds so all the favorites will get massive cheers. Agree with Britt too, people wanted her champ and she hasn't done anything to garner so heat back since winning the title other than talk smack. Beating Nyla won't get her any heat either as much as im interested in the match itself. Have her go over Conti and a returning Anna Jay. People will fucking hate her after that

I suppose another way to look at it is she's implying is as greasy and corrupted as with the blood money comments, implying he's conspiring against her and wasting her time .

but yeah ig its a bit of a stretch to compare giving Vickie Guerrero a free match for signing Andrade to a billion dollar deal. I guess thats delusional heels for ya
