So I honestly had no real idea where to post this question thread...
but I went with General WWE & if it needs moving someone with
that power can do so.

Now...as some of you around here may have observed...I can be
a tad too serious about wrestling from time to time (& believe me
I'm trying to work on that) & I may seem to get "salty" with certain
creative & booking decisions made by the WWE...as well as other
wrestling promotions...but...

I'm sure I'm not the only wrestling fan who goes through this.

So I have created this thread to ask every member of this fine forum
one simple question:

What creative decision or match result caused you to become as
salty as you possibly could with wrestling?

What was that one moment that you just couldn't wrap your brain
around as a wrestling fan?

What was that one moment...when you threw your arms up &
nearly walked away from the product?

What was that one moment when you became Salt Incarnate?

Post your salty moments below & as always...I'll see you all around
the traps.

(P.S: And you'll score bonus points if you don't mention Lesnar breaking the streak...
I'm sure A LOT of fans were incredibly Salty after that)

For me, it was when they had the 3 brands battling back in 2006, Smackdown roster vs Raw roster vs ECW roster. It was so confusing and stupid at that time, I can't remember everything but I know that was my first time being like I'm done with this. Plus I was heading off to the Marine Corps so I didn't have to worry about tuning in to utter bullshit.

I literally didn't get back into the shows until I was on my way out The Corps in 2010.

When Eddie Guerrero beat Brock Lesnar for the WWE Title in 2004.. Really didn't understand that and i was so puzzled by that decision, but at the time i was 12 years old and didn't realize Lesnar was leaving a month later.

Later that same year i was even more confused when JBL won the title.

Brock Lesnar beating the Undertaker. Giving such a monumental achievement to someone that doesn't care about wrestling in the slightest irks me to this day.

I lost interest in 2014 and it wasn't one moment that made me lose interest but collective moments just sucking. I remember watching and thinking "what is the point?". I could be spending this time doing something else. There were a few moments since to get my interest but nothing worth keeping my attention full time. If it wasn't for this place, I would not care at all about wrestling.

Jinder winning the title. I went on a short hiatus of wrestling, checked in on RAW a few times, Great Balls of Fire, started getting into it again at/after Summerslam.

The RR 2014 had me mega salty. DB and Batista.

Also another DB moment his 4 second or whatever time it was loss at Mania to Sheamus. Major annoyed me as I was watching in a group of mates and I'd been raving about how good DB was, and then that happened.

The 2nd 'Once in a Lifetime' WM.

This makes me wonder if it's a good thing to make your fans salty. Cuz all the people that were booing Batista at the Rumble was cheering for Bryan at Mania. It would have sucked if Bryan won the Rumble in 2014. You need the fairy tail moment to happen at the end of the story (Wrestlemania).

This is very true. At the time though I was fuming.

As you state though it did make for an awesome Mania.

(Masked) Kane never having a proper WWE title run.
(Masked) Kane not being in the 6-man Hell in a Cell match at Armageddon 2000, should have replaced Rikishi.

You have to respect Rikishi for that crazy bump into the truck though.

I agree with the WWE title run though.

Taker’s ministry of darkness and “crucifying” Stephanie was a bit much for me.

Plus all the factions were poor attempts to rival the (original) NWO.

I tuned out for a bit then.

After watching the product (both WCW (until it died) & WWE) for 6 years
when on RAW June 23rd, 2003...Kane Unmasked...and I walked away
from wrestling for close to 13 years.

I missed a lot in that time...but wrestling history is pretty easy to catch up
on thanks to the wealth of information online (its much like comics in that
regard).

What brought me back to wrestling?

A random image on a random website of a tall, statuesque blonde with
a strange looking "butterfly" belt around her waist. Apparently it was
Ric Flair's daughter.

I decided to check out the 2016 Royal Rumble pay per view...& well...the
rest you guys know.

Kane unmasking and JBL winning the title from Eddie. Really made no sense to me and I thought Eddie deserved a lengthier reign.

What turned me away was the super cena era.
