A successful surgery for Brian Cage and he is back in the gym.

A successful surgery for Cage.

On Brian Cage’s Instagram Stories, he shared that he underwent successful surgery. He posted a photo of his knee post-operation.

In the Stories he posted after, Cage further confirmed that he underwent surgery and he’s back in the gym training.

He last wrestled on March 20th at an independent show in Los Angeles, California. He wrestled for AEW earlier that same week.

Cage is under a long-term contract with AEW.

Always wondered why Cage was never in the mix for world championship as he has the talent no doubt. When he was in Taz faction wasn't there some issues with his attitude or something?

Is he really underused? Cage had been featured quite often on AEW TV and in ROH since early 2023, won the ROH TV title and twice the ROH Six Man Tag Titles and even as a Cage fan, I think that is pretty much his ceiling within that roster.

I would also argue that they are not bad at "pushing big guys". Size is simply not a priority for who's getting pushed or not.

Dunno - just every time I see Cage come out (isn't very often), I just wait for him to lose - although tbh I'm not watching the new ROH so if he is doing ok on that then I'm chatting rubbish

But watching only Dynamite and Collision he just never seems to get anywhere. I like AEW push "smaller" wrestlers but I do like to see big guys dominate

Bring back Darby lol id love to see him have a title run - the guy totally deserves it

Personally I've always liked Cage but he's had terrible luck with injury. Just think size isn't a priority for TK unlike other companies. If talent is there then he'll book whomever. Only person who maybe falls under that category is Wardlow who I've missed and think he'd be better suited in NXT . Cage been booked well since he last got wrong or something with his Personal Issues with attitude back in 2022.

Same but that was early last year mate. Miss him as he has all the capabilities of being the guy in AEW but I read that a certain Jericho didn't like him and was politicking behind the scenes TK stopped his push after. Tbh think he's not coming back and I'm all for him being NXT and restarting. He's got the best look I've seen since Brock was young.
