Their relationship with WWE is odd. I feel like it's only been Bloodsport unless someone can prove me wrong on that. That's certainly a GCW production but still very separate. I think Brett pushes being cool with WWE more than they actually are when it seems like Josh Barnett is the only one who can actually book WWE talent

I don't think they want their rookies around a bunch of rampant drug use or on a "m rated" project. Tho I think NY has dumb rules n gcw can't bleed or some silly crap

Yeah you're right about the commission, they're strict on NYC. But honestly the GCW locker room has cleaned up the last few years, they had some absolute cretins but they've been "canceled" for lack of a better term lol they did well with Nick Wayne and Billie Starkz being minors fwiw

I do think Emil n other folks still give the promotion some pretty low brow vibes that wwe doesn't wanna be too.involved with but who knows they've been leaning into shitty ppl more n more

Yeah I think Brett is actually pretty smart but he's loyal to people that aren't like Emil (I still like him ngl but his opinions are very much his own and not always great). I'm not sure where they go for the future

yeah i dont hate the guy either but agree he is not the brightest lol. I agree that Brett is smart, too, he's a pretty good carny man. I think he's had good ideas in the past.

Not sure what he needs to do to get GCW hot again though. Sometimes it just do be like that

really all wrestling companies go through hot and cold periods. Way of the business. I think they will bounce back. Just gonna take the right feuds at the right time and they should be good.
