WWE is going to have Cheech and Chong?? Really?? FTW!!
I know alot of people are excited about this but I just don't think it's a good idea. People are unaware of the fact that the reason TNA got it's highest rating ever was because of that 1.9 hour rating they got that went unopposed to Raw. The only logical thing for TNA to do is to start an hour earlier, going head to head with Raw is very, very risky and just borderline stupid. You start an hour earlier you build some momentum and maybe keep some viewers hooked to your show, especially since they want to start up against the WM build, which is just a bad idea in itself.
I like the idea of a new Monday night wars, but people need to stop kidding themselves, when one promotion is pulling almost three times (please don't go and wiki numbers, I'm just making broad generalizations) the viewers, it's not a war. And right now TNA just doesn't have the right stuff going on, yes it's in the midst of re-shuffling, for better or worse depends on the viewer, but it isn't enough to make the E worry. The industry just doesn't have the depth it had in the 90s to reignite a war, and again, why would they want to try and take a shot before the E's high point of the year.
I truly believe for TNA to stand even a slight chance they need to have all their shit straight and to me, they are far off from that and I don't know if 35 days is enough time for them. Plus going straight head to head is BAD. They are better off taking a shot after WM.
