So will the PPV air on tape delay because of the timezone difference? If so, that's going to be a bit of an issue for PPV buys which probably won't be good in the first place.

I'm hearing tape delay indeed. But hey what else can they do?

Viewers who wanna buy the PPV will buy it, no matter it it's live or happened idk 10 hrs ago? Just stay away from wrestling sites. I know that'll be my drill.

That would make sense, assuming it would happen at like 7 am Japan time if it happened when it normally would USA time.

Ehh, I'd say so. I'll definitely check out results to see if it's good or not, and I'll be getting the PPV free on Challenge in the UK. Also, I just hope the crowd isn't dead because I enjoy it when we get the chants in a good match. Boosts it right up to a better match.

Both these guys are right. This PPV won't disappoint. There's no way it will disappoint.
WM may disappoint in some respects, but BFG has potential to satisfy fans up and down the card (this year in particular)
If TNA can get away from handing victories to the grizzled vets (just for the simple fact), BFG could outdo WM in terms of pure quality.

I can live with10 hours in advance but have no patience for a full day or two, spoilers will ruin the show for me before I can even get hyped to watch the show.

I bet you'll watch it anyways. TNA does one thing right and it signs guys who can work.

I'd watch even if Rainman ran TNA. I don't catch it weekly but any show with bully, anderson, roode, and aries has my attention.

So the Global Impact Japan PPV for their One Night Only series is out in the US, will be aired for free in the UK on Wednesday so I should know how good the crowd could be when I'm watching it. Anyone seen it and know if the crowd is full on japanese and pretty much pops but wouldn't do the regular chants we get in English-language pro wrestling?

PPV was very good, I watched it back in March, illegally of course. Can't remember the crowd though. I believe it was decent overall, there was 5800 in attendance.

You didn't have to use the word 'illegally,' but it gives you boss points nonetheless

A bit of a ressurection of the thread but having finally finished the PPV, here's some notes from me; I agree with your view, PPV was very good - although the first hour was a bit lacking for me. The Abyss match was the worst, two slow men slapping each other with a dodgy finish (Abyss' music played when it was apparently a no contest?). The Japanese crowd's appreciation for wrestling is cool and their applause along with that epic entrance/announcing duo makes the matches feel really big. The stand out Japanese performers for me were the guys in The Great Muta's team vs Joe's team match (and I remember the name of the Desperados which is cool), Team 246, Sanada and Kai. I think that they should all be called up for the BFG PPV definitely (well, Sanada and Muta are practically confirmed at this point). And I say Kai did well but I'm not that sure, he looked pretty good but I was literally half-asleep during the Magnus (c) vs Kai match in the main event for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, not because it was shit but because I woke up really early that day, haha. So yeah, I'd book The Wolves (c) vs Team 246 vs Team 3D for the Tag Team titles, Sanada vs The Great Muta, Magnus and Bram vs Kai and Joe or something like that to fill up the main event with good Wrestle-1 guys that the Japanese crowd can get behind.
