TNA just announced at their press conference with Dixie Carter and the Great Muta in New York City that TNA's biggest PPV, Bound For Glory, will be held Sunday, October 12, in Tokyo, Japan at the Korakuen Hall.

Maximum capacity of the venue is around 2300. TNA should have no problem to sell it out along with the help of Great Muta and his WRESTLE-1 organization.

Road to BFG starts tonight with first night of the NYC tapings.

This'll be tricky to pull off with the timezones I'd imagine. Japan is like like 12-14 hours ahead of the states. If they want to run it live, won't they have to run it at like 10-11 in the morning in Japan?

All power to them for trying this though

Not yet, give it a chance. But if the storyline goes kerplunk then yeah close the doors, but I really wanna see this.

LOL I was joking. I'm the biggest TNA supporter here on the site. I was mocking BLFFL , haters, internet "fans" and co. for always saying that stuff like TNA is gone and dead, close the doors etc. Shame you don't recognize my name value.

Sounds cool, but I guess we won't get to hear the English chants. I was hoping for Canada, with Roode being from there. :p

Pondering the implications. I guess aggressively entering the japanese market is a good idea if it works out in the end, so... it's fine.

Yep, I want to see BFG in the UK next year! Heck, maybe even Canada (I expected them to do that this year, because of how big EY and Bobby Roode are in their storylines).

Also, that trailer is pretty cool. They need to make trailers featuring some high impact moves (pun intended) and show that in Japan.

This company deserves a great showing.
TNA is only twelve years old and they have done a fantastic, with a few hiccups along the way.
Dixie Carter is a ditz, which has Blue the company's growth, but her enthusiasm should be applauded.
The company isn't perfect and needs plenty of help. If anything, fans should be less cynical and give this company a fighting chance.
