So many people are trying to find excuses for the women's match to not be the main event, it's pathetic.

I really hope that it does take the top spot, they deserve it. If you include NXT, they've had a rivalry for like two years. What better way to end it?

Completely agree. I'm also happy to see the women's title main eventing, but mainly due to it being the first women HIAC match. I have no doubt this is going to be a really good and exciting match.

But upon thinking about it... lets be rational here about which match main events. Look at Summerslam 2016. We had that big thread about "Which match should main event?", and argued about the big names and promotion of Lesnar and Orton going up against the better, more historic match that Rollins and Balor were having. (Also the WWE Championship, because of the prestige of the belt)... But after the show, it seemed downright idiotic that a fourth match (Cena vs Styles) didn't main event, since it was the best match with the best story and the best finish and nothing could follow it.

We don't know how this show is going to play out yet. As easy as it is to say the women, lets see what WWE has in store for us.

Well said...I just hope the card has a better flow than No Mercy did...
That truly was a cluster-f*ck of a match order.

I personally would like to see the ladies main event...but...realistically
putting them in a HiaC match and having them main event the show
may put too much pressure on them as performers...and while I want
a great and somewhat violent match...I don't want Charlotte or Sasha
seriously hurt by attempting some stupid Mick Foley-like spot.

Personally...I would open the show with Roman/Rusev then have
Charlotte/Sasha halfway through the card and end the night with
Owens/Rollins.
