at Starrcade (which really was just a glorified House Show)
it
was a house show, they never advertised it as anything more than that I think. It's a part of that survey they once sent out to their network subscriptions about what would make the network better or make people go up to 15 bucks a month and apparently people voted for televising certain house shows, so I'm guessing this is their way of introducing it. Just so you know not to expect too much from these events in the future
and Bray Wyatt coming back is lovely, as long as they're willing to develop his character into something a bit less over-the-top supernatural and mystical, I think he would work perfectly as a babyface. I remember back in 2016, after Mania 32 when he teamed up with Reigns and people were really into Bray as a "normal dude".
I guess the biggest gripe I have with the Bray Wyatt character as a whole is that winning is never his main goal. He always makes up some stupid reason as to why he randomly attackes people, but then still gets his ass handed to him on a PPV, regardless of his shenanigans. Winning matches is literally the only thing you have to do in wrestling to get people to buy into your stuff and if you don't get to do that, then at least be relatable enough so that people can still be invested and root for you going forward.
Interested to see if WWE still has faith in him or if this is just another "whatever" midcard run
