On the work rate topic, Fox and I were discussing a little in the LD about many of these WWE homegrown guys. Guys like Wyatt, Cena, Orton have no chemistry with one another. Cena and Orton both are more motivated wrestling these high-energy matches against Styles and Rollins than the walking clotheslines they deliver against each other, Wyatt may be in the same camp as he's rarely faced the Indy signees

I'd say Cena and Orton had very good chemistry, the match just got over played very quickly. Reigns (I believe he was a straight to E guy, wasn't he?) and Orton had good chemistry also if I remember correctly. There may be something in the styles that these guys who work which limits their ability to work together however.

I appreciate that working with those guys will raise most people's games, especially Styles (I honestly believe he could bring a 3.5* out of FTJ.)

I'm just looking through profightdb with Meltzer's ratings and interestingly it seems some Wyatt's best rated singles matches are with Cena and Reigns, shows how varied different people see these things I guess.

I disagree to an extent. Cena and bray had great chemistry. I liked their feud, not the result. Bray has been good with nearly anyone he's fought if you ask me. Sure, some more stale than others, but his feuds and matches are generally fun to watch, WWE simply gives Wyatt the short end of the stick with Orton.

Can't blame the guy, Orton made him his stepping stone back to significance and his transfer to Raw is more to protect Orton than for storyline.

There is so much WWE could have done with Wyatt, but if you notice creative has now changed their mind about him winning at Mania 3 times

-At Wresltemania 30 he was supposed to win until Vince or John Cena decided him winning would make the kids "lose faith" in Cena as usual
-At Wresltemania 31 I don't know what the case was, he should of won
-At Wreslemania 33 I think Vince who was reportedly "high on Randy Orton" changed the outcome

Bray is supposed to be undefeated at Wresltemania not defeated.... cheesy decisions

Him being upset? What would make you think that? Him losing most his PPV matches? His character getting changed brands randomly? Start-stop booking? What would make ANYONE think he is upset?

Bray was fucked the minute they let Vince get his hands on him & moved him to the main roster....

He just had to go and overdue everything as usual, the same as he does with every other guy he gets his hands on....

He wasn't some magical dark being on NXT... Undertaker 2, he was just a weird hillbilly cult leader, that's how they should have left him but nooooo, Vince with his wanting to overdue EVERYTHING!

Enzo & Cas were SO FUCKING over before they got brought up & I said, Vince is going to make these guys so repetitive that everybody hates them & that's what happened.

"What's that you say? ...People like the RKO because Randy hits it naturally & very smooth? .....Do the RKO 10 times tonight Randy!!!! ...And for 1 of them I want you to do a springboard, then grab on to the rafters but as you come down, I want you to do 10 flips & then finally land it with the RKO..... And Cole! Don't forget to say "OUTTA NO WHERE!"

Bray was PERFECT before he got moved up, when he was in NXT. An original, organic character that was a mix between Charlie Manson & Dude Love.... Not UnderTaker 2

Not to mention his promos were amazing in NXT & they completely changed when he got brought up to be so hoaky

No dark magic stuff...... just a weird hillbilly. Should have stayed that way, since when was he all magic like Undertaker & stuff? ....Stupid

Could it be argued that Enzo and Cass have struggled on the main roster due to the repetitive nature of their gimmick? Same as Bray to an extent, NXT only being an hour long allows them to rotate which characters they use on a weekly basis. It's partly booking absolutely bit I don't see a great deal of depth with them (mainly Enzo and Cass - note I'm a huge Enzo mark so I'm not one to throw out undue criticism. )

Oh it's not a repetitive gimmick.....

It's Vince & when he sees that something is over organically, he has to crush it by overdoing it so that it's NOT organic anymore but instead is forced & shoved in your face.

He turns a very REAL connection & love between a talent & the fans into something very phony & then they end up hating it.

"People like when you say this.... so say it 5 times tonight & make sure that's all you ever do from now on, for the rest of your life, or you're fired"

Also Cass isn't 7 feet tall.... he MIGHT be 6'6!
Why make him wear those stupid Gene Simmons hightops so that he can break both ankles & not perform? He wasn't that gifted in the first place in the ring & he looks ridiculous. I don't get it. Why not just say he's 6'7 and let him wrestle comfortably... He's still "Big" Cass

How is it not repetitive exactly? Entertaining, yes. Varied, no.

I meant that I don't think it's repetitive "in nature"

The reason they repeat it so many times is because Vince won't let them do anything but that because he seen that it was over. I'm sure they could be doing much more & they were doing great in NXT before they were brought up. They didn't do the "Can't teach that" entrance every single night.

I won't give one iota of credence to some "backstage report". That is all a bunch of shit. Bray could be totally stoked to be on Raw and nobody here would know.
