Bray was just coming off of a back injury that was serious enough to keep him off the Wrestlemania card, so perhaps a little more time away from the ring would have been beneficial? Otherwise, it's a little early to be grouping him into Wade Barrett territory just yet. Still shitty and disappointing news either way.

Probably the best thing that could have happened to him to be fair. Not saying him getting injured is good. But Bray has been incredibly stale as a character and worker for the past year +. Same feud, same rambling promos that say absolutely nothing and the same result at the end, aka him taking the pin.

Time to give the guy a vacation and bring him back with some direction.

Thing is I think the face turn was only going to be temporary, get the LON out of the way quick and then bumrush Reigns. Reigns vs Wyatt was supposed to be the big summer program
