I gave it a quick look to see my girls, really happy for them, they have improved quite a bit from their last matches in WWE. Nothing stellar but they looked more than decent. As for the rest of the show, the company doesn't look like it's doing well. The production and the set looked pretty cheap and who the hell is that guy who beat Christian? Granted I had not watched Impact in years but he doesn't have the FOTC look imo. I guess it's another EY or Daniel Bryan story where the crowd made him so over they pushed him to the main event?

No he's just extremely fucking good and got over on his skill. Consider him like a Bret Hart type. He does his talking in the ring.

Yeah I'd day it was company backing that got Josh over more than the crowd tbh, a lot of his run was empty arenas anyway. Not a completely terrible comparison tho, I can see it still

I hated Swann too.

Not saying I don’t like Alexander, but he was the tag team guy for most of the time I saw him wrestle.

I heard he won the X-Division title and then he used option C for a title shot. I thought Christian was retaining easy when I heard about the match.

That said, if people behind him, good. Build up that return match with Moose hopefully in a couple months.

Impact needs a legit over set of top guys on the show.

I hated Swann too.

Not saying I don’t like Alexander, but he was the tag team guy for most of the time I saw him wrestle.

yeah trust he's just had an absolutely monster year. I think if you saw a couple of his big matches over the year and even his latest promo packages and his story, you'd be 100% behind the lad.

There was actually reports months ago that the company was siper high on Josh and wanted him to beat Kenny and I disregarded them as too far fetched lol but they really ramped up the build for Josh after that, calling him arguably the best x division champ and what not do it was def some build going on before option C

And he did have arguably the best individual reign with the X Division Championship ever, they weren't even overhyping that aspect. Best X Division Champion counting dudes with multiple reigns is much more debatable but I do think his standalone reign could be best ever.

tbh the only single reign that comes to mind off the top of my head that's similar is Austin Aries before he invented the option C concept. I'd probs rank Aries higher tho

Well you have to also consider how short the average reign with that title is and how it was dicked around a lot over the years. Styles, Joe, Daniels, Aries and Sabin all may be better overall X Division champs but I would put Alexander's reign against any of those guys' single reigns for sure.
