I’ve hated the impact wrestling branding for as long as I can remember. I’ve tried to let it grow on me, and it never did.

I just don’t think it makes any sense to call your world championship the Impact Wod Championship, or call your pay-per-view impact bound for glory. I think “SOMETHING wrestling” sounds very indie to me and a real legit professional promotion should have the three letters that’s just in general.

Then you factor in the fact the TNA branding itself is just so iconic that it made no sense to get rid of it. I know that they wanted to break away and rebuild but let’s be honest while the product has been more well received it’s not like impact wrestling really lit the world on fire, so they might as well bring back the classic branding and just continue to do the great product under it.
