It also applies to AEW as well but doesn't matter. You come in IMPACT for a spell or for a bit and get over and then you are off the big leagues to do something...or nothing...or anything...or yeah, you get my point.

Yeah people who sign long term like Josh Alexandre are probably more the anomaly than the norm. Nothing wrong with being a feeder though

Putting on my TEW hat for a second, some people simply value loyalty and the respect they've been given at Impact more too than more money or even exposure but doing less of what they like. More of an anomaly tho for sure but Impact seems to have the healthiest relationship with their talent than like legit any company, even those that leave. Good Brothers even said they'd love coming back at some point (sorry Sky)

That's a great point Chris and one myself forget at times. Not everyone has the same goals in life or value different things from a workplace. For the exception of exactly one person, it seems like no one has anything bad to say about Impact and everyone seems to love Scott D'Amore. I'm sure a lot of people are happy with no travel or politics and still keeping their day job/have a semi normal home life.

And taking indie bookings too, I think people don't mention that enough when talking about AEW too, and they're probably a bit more strict than Impact surely but still

Also the way they promote indies somewhat that their talents run or are major parts of, even the Talk n Shop shit for the Good Bros lol

yep! Like a lot of ppl in AEW and Impact either run a school or a promotion, so being able to do those booking is probably pretty invaluable to their retirement plan lol

To be somewhat non-smartass and civil towards you, I always remember a quote by Matt Tremont, "I don't need a lot of money. Just enough to put food in my fridge, pay for my house, and keep my wife happy. That is all the money I need, and if I need more or some help then I have good friends who would help me out."

The indie events are part of the IEU, i have canonized them and that is a good point.

That Tremont quote is 100% how I feel about my job and why I'm actively avoiding a promotion rn :heston

Please don't put ideas of Josh leaving in my head. What would Impact even do without him
If Josh left, he wouldn't be as much as a star as he is. As I said before Josh is perfect for IMPACT

I think you're safe Sky, I don't see Josh leaving for quite some time still. I don't think he's in a rush to go anywhere, is treated well and the market is a lot more saturated on the men's side.

I don't know, pretty sure Kimber Lee isn't a fan either, but then again, she's never been a fan of most people
