Suppose so. it really comes down to personal preference or knowledge, and it was just dry joke since if you like Pink Floyd then you should like ELP and King Crimson since along with them three and Rush they pretty much created Prog Metal/Rock.One of those bands is significantly more popular than the other two, so
I feel you. I don't think it quite works that way though. Pink Floyd and Rush are well-known, mainstream bands. King Crimson and Emerson, Lake & Palmer are fairly well known but you could easily go your whole life without hearing their music if you never made a point to seek it out. The former bands are much more accessible as well, while the latter two arguably require a higher degree of interest in prog rock to really get into.
