I had a kick last year where I was listening to a lot of early 2010s albums I missed or didn't give much thought to when they came out, 2016 was about as far as I got so I have a few candidates out of that new stuff on top of what I actually listened to at the time

I listened to a few on the top 100 list for that year and couldn't find anything I thought was outstanding, so I asked my niece to help me out. What I got wasn't on the list, but was better than anything that I had heard on it.
