I think so too, the tags do weird things when not explicitly typed I've noticed. Copying and pasting or editing makes them look like normal tags but no notification is given. Shortcut makes sense for that

I should also say I'm pretty sure I've seen the copying and pasting work too but it's inconsistent lol I do know editing the tags 100% doesn't actually tag people even though it looks like it does
