While I agree it is one of the last huge matches the WWE can do, you cant just shit all over the PPV. It is arguably the 2nd biggest PPV of the year and the WWE, for the past few years have stacked it. I didnt hear this bitching LAST YEAR when it was Cena/Orton which is another legit WM dream match.

Why can't they just save this for Wrestlemania? It's horrendous booking, but I suppose WWE are trying to get a Big Buyrate for Summerslam since Triple H vs. The Great Khali will do no buys, Mark Henry vs. Matt Hardy will also do no buys. Should be a good match but i agree with it being idiotic booking.

I haven't though of that, but yeah, Mr. Orton may not be that far from coming back and we know that WWE just didn't make that promo at ONS for nothing. Batista and Orton will be a tag team, and considering how Edge vs Taker will be the match to send the fans happy, they can go with Orton attacking Cena and giving Batista the win.


Then at Wrestlemania 25 we can have Batista vs Cena II, we all know how much WWE loves big rematches

I'm fine with it, that's at least one match that seems interesting for Summerslam. There's no way that I could see the match ending with a simple finish. I could see them branching off from each other after Summerslam, with one of them winning the title and setting up the big rematch. And for the 4-5 months up to WM, they could have the champ beat all his opponents and set up Cena or Batista (whoever's not champion) as the number one contender.

I don't mind this match it will just be a small taster of what to expect come Mania time it wont end clean. and they will build the feud up slowly on and off till mania. And off course Summer slam is gonna be stacked apart from Mania its the biggest PPV of the year. And with matches like HHH vs Khali and Matt vs Henry they gonna throw some big matches in there. Because lets face apart from Edge vs Taker the matches so far arnt exactly exciting guaranteed buy rates are they.

Fuck that! This match will be horrible at WM or at SS, Seriously! some people actually think this will be a good match? You have got to be kidding ill give you 2 reasons why this match will do poorly.

1. Both men, never controll a match.
2. Cena sucks, he has only about 3 fucking moves and is one ...no IS the most crappiest wrestler i have ever seen and a disgrace to real wrestling fans, and boretista botches everything and is very boring.

This match will suck, with alot of botches, and the crowd will be dead in this match, unless they are children or girls. I bet this match will be main event, after CM Punks match against who ever it may be. The real main event match at WM should be a match like CM Punk Vs. Chris Jericho.

i agree this match is useless its only ok if a title was on the line then that would have been a little more interesting but since its not this match is more of a restroom break for the people who attend summerslam nothing special..

Yeah after watching that match between CM Punk and Elijiah Burke last year. The amount of botches in that match should have killed his ME status imo. lol. So he has to be like that guy, throws himself off 20 feet high roof just for WWE to give him another chance to ME again and ..... again >_>

I guess the WWE feels like they have to add this match now. Let's face it, the rest of the card is shit.

Undertaker vs Edge has been done a billion times and its even less significant now that the title isn't involved.

HHH vs Khali. The WWE shouldn't insult our intelligence. Khali has done nothing lately.

Matt Hardy vs Mark Henry. This is a match that should be on free TV on a night when nothing else is on.

Cena vs Batista will be the only reason to buy the PPV, and you know its going to end in a DQ, heel turn to continue the feud. Most likely Orton coming in to help his old buddy Batista.

Probably not this Mania. There is no way the WWE can stretch this fued out to Mania and expect it to draw. The WWE isn't that creative.

I'm guessing we get Batista vs Orton and Cena vs Jericho from Raw. Taker vs HBK as the interpromotional match. HHH vs Edge from SD.
