TNA wrestler Bobby Lashley has signed a multi-fight deal with the Strikeforce promotion, according to multiple MMA websites.

Lashley is scheduled to make his debut fight for Strikeforce on January 30. Lashley is 4-0 in his MMA career, but he has not fought since June when he defeated Bob Sapp.

Strikeforce did not mention TNA in their press release announcing the signing. Lashley's past in WWE was mentioned, however, due to WWE being more recognizable despite Lashley currently wrestling for TNA.

"Former World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) heavyweight champion and undefeated mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter has signed a multi-year agreement," Strikeforce said.

The next question is whether Lashley will continue wrestling for TNA. Lashley said in interviews last month that he might have to quit wrestling if Strikeforce asks him to dedicate himself to MMA only.

Lashley currently holds a TNA World Title shot in the current storylines after winning TNA's one-night-only #1 contender tournament on Thanksgiving

So Lashley has a world title shot, has a mma fight at the end of January, and is part of the most hilarious storylines in TNA right now, what to do what to do what to do.?

But the big question is, will he stay with TNA?

More money and notoriety to be made in MMA. Just depends how he does in real fighting. I hope he does well because I'd and almost everyone else would love to see him fight Brock.

He's just screwed TNA big time. Can't really give him the title at all now.

He's improved a lot scene being in TNA. His in-ring ain't that bad, and he connects with the fans alot better. Granted his facial expressions are slighty above Kozlofs.

LOL I must agree his storyline with Steiner cracks me up more and more each week. And yeah, his future with TNA is pretty much done. TNA anticipated him juggling both at once, but even though he holds a No. 1 Contender spot, he will never get it. Quote me on that.

First off TNA knew this was a possibility to happen when they signed him. And how can he fight Brock? The fight for 2 different promotions brother.

I believe everybody wants to see the fight and just because he is in strikeforce now doesn't mean he can't go to UFC after his contract is finished with Strikeforce.

^^^ Or if he does well enough and is a cash cow UFC will straight up buy his contract from Strikeforce. Isn't that what they did with Diego Sanchez and a few other fighters from other promotions?

Diego Sanchez is from TUF. No they don't do that. Usually they wait till the contract is over and then sign them. You don't watch MMA huh?

Don't know much about MMA, but doesn't Bobby Lashley would have to be in serious preparation for his fight and practically that would rule out any involvement with TNA, at least inside the ring?

I think that since TNA only tapes impact twice a month plus one ppv he'll still be able to focus on his training. I would've said that working matches would be good for his stamina but 90% of all TNA matches go less than five minutes so that notion is out the window.

Also for those saying that TNA wouldn't put the title on Lashley, I disagree. That is exactly the kind of thing that TNA would do.

I am certain they would love the idea of having Lashley come out for his first fight wearing the TNA title.

You watch once Fedor gets past his next opponent and if Lashley beats his opponent in January, Lashley will fight Fedor for the No. 1 Contender spot for Overeem.
