- Brock Lesnar pulled out of the UFC 131 main event against Junior dos Santos due to a flareup in his diverticulitis, a word I can now spell by memory thanks to covering mixed martial arts. Shane Carwin will replace Lesnar, and the fight will remain a number one contender's bout. Dana White has locked Carwin and dos Santos in the UFC Training Center until June 11th.
- Bloody Elbow Radio spoke to Head Kick Legend's Matthew Roth and Bellator lightweight tournament finalist Michael Chandler. Oh, they also have the audio from today's conference call. (You can find it just after the one-hour mark.)
- The number one story on the site today? My piece on the UFC's new Twitter policy. I don't get it either.
- New York Assemblyman and all-around yambag Bob Reilly found a way to spin the UFC's out-of competition insurance policy in a negative light.

- Roger Gracie may not participate in the 2011 IBJJF World Jiu-Jitsu Championships due to a leg injury that kept him from training for a month.
- Maximo Blanco announced that he has left Sengoku. I haven't seen an exodus this fast since Moses led the Jews out of Egypt.
- Matt Mitrione and Tito Ortiz exchanged words at the UFC fighter summit. Apparently, a lot of you found that interesting.
