Blood & Guts - the AEW Dynamite Special will be the Event #2 for the month of May. It will also be the 25th event in the WPC Grand Prix 2021 - and is very much a landmark event. On this fact alone, I would like to thank everyone who has taken part in the Grand Prix for the first half of the season as this programme has been put together during Davey's planned Leave of Absence. The event will feature a total of five matches, which will help add towards everyone's point tally in the AEW Divisional Rankings with Double or Nothing set to be the event that will round off this month.

Prediction must be in before Dynamite begins next week.

Blood & Guts [AEW] - May Event #2 Results

Blood & Guts marks the 25th consecutive event in WPC Grand Prix 2021 - and so many events in this temporarily competition would never have been possible without all the predictors that have chosen to take part since this begun in mid-January. There is a still a lot to play before, as we are in the penultimate month of the Grand Prix with the May and June Cups to be won, the WPC Grand Prix Event Championship available at every event as well as the rolling divisional rankings. I just wanted to take this opportunity to show my appreciation for everyone involved and confirm that all your achievements will be recorded and become part of the canon history of this section.

The second event of the month of May was a special episode of Dynamite the featured a total of five matches, with all but one predictors scoring a negative differential for the event. Below is some information regarding the rules surrounding the WPC Grand Prix Event Championship:

- everyone is eligible to win the belt - irrespective of how many times they have taken part in the WPC
- if more than two people are tied tied in 1st place - the belt is vacated
- the challenger has the advantage part one - if two predictor are tied for 1st, the champion loses the tie
-the challenger has the advantage part two - if two predictor are tied for 1st (and the champion is not present in the tie) - then the lowest ranked predictor wins the tie

The scores of the event would see Jimmy King, HoHo, MachoDan and Adapting all posted perfect scores of five and zero. On this basis, this means that more than two people tied in first place, thus the WPC Grand Prix Event Championship is vacated. Below is the complete scores from the event:​

For all of our predictors that shared the top spot for this event, it was also not the first time they had achieved a perfect round with Adapting now having a hat-trick of perfect rounds, whilst HoHo, MachoDan and Jimmy King all achieved a brace of perfect round. The overall standing have resulted in HoHo claiming top spot, whilst a number of predictors are sitting just behind in joint second.

The next two confirmed event will take place over the same weekend with Event #3: Under Siege [Impact Wrestling] &
Event #4: Wrestemania Backlash [WWE} taking place on the weekend of the 15th & 16th May. It has been decided that NJPW's Grand Slam will not count towards the May Cup on this occasion. ​
