As far as this goes, I guess the thing I'm most confused about is why Bischoff would attack Hardy to this extreme. Like someone else said, there's a difference between merely expressing one's opinion and bludgeoning someone with it.

The hilarous thing is not what Hardy said, but Hardy being the one saying it. Matt Hardy is a glorified midcarder, used as enhancement talent for Jeff's feuds.

And tbf, for Hardy being the face of ECW, he doesn't appear there a whole lot.
