I can see the appeal of watching something Weekly, you get to discuss it with others and it is easier to keep up.

I noticed WandaVision was like this recently, I kept hearing lots of chatter about it each week but it personally was not for me. Game of Thrones was also a big one in the past that had weekly discussions. Breaking Bad did too, although I watched all of that at once, which I preferred. No waiting on cliff hangers, which drives me nuts.

Personally, though, I prefer to be able to watch it all at once. I can still take my time with it, of course, but I know I don't have to be on some sort of schedule. I also generally prefer to watch 'finished' shows, if I can. Sometimes that isn't always possible. I really dislike when a show hasn't received a proper conclusion or ended too soon.

Just depends on the show/how I'm feeling really lol I don't really binge per se, but I do prefer watching on my own schedule whether it's a lot at a time or a few here or there. Only time I really enjoy the weekly releases is when there's a nice community to discuss it with like for Marvel shows or Game of Thrones like you mentioned.

I think Netflix is just far too convenient for me to go back to the old ways again. Although, I must admit I do experience burn-out sometimes with their shows. I think a lot of them follow a similar formula, and it can be hard to avoid spoilers because some people no life the show on release day and obviously want to discuss it.

I don't think you retain alot of information by binge watching....you watch weekly, and you have the opportunity to discuss the episode all week and even have theories.

I feel like it's the opposite for me. When I watch a show weekly I always seem to forget stuff that happened and need recaps. When I hyper focus on a show and watch it all, I tend to enjoy it more and retain more information.

I bingewatched all of Breaking Bad and I can remember that show really well.
