Smart purchase my man. What was it appraised at 5 years ago as compared to now? Look at the savings and you tell me if you're really screwed. You're paying rent still, but gaining equity and permanent residence.

No....the only natural disasters Hamilton has had in my life time are 4 earthquakes none of which registerd higher then .5 on the rictor scale (as a matter of fact I never knew any of them ever happened until I heard about it on the news later) and 2 tornados which never even amounted to anything.

I do live on Hamilton Mountain, but its not a very big mountain height wise, and we don't live anywhere near the edge of it. There has been the odd mud slide which has closed the roads going down the mountain but no major damage even in that area.
