PS4 users can expect an update today of the heavier kind.

Here are a few tidbits (copied and translated from the Swedish PS4 blog).

Various facebook and social media updates.

Improvements to the trophy system.

The ability to save backups of game saves, settings and entire games on USB.

The new suspend/resume function will also be implemented, allowing for "seamless" jumping between games for "almost all PS4 games". Games that run in 60fps will also not have to sacrifice frame rate to use this function.
