Sorry to use this situation to point fingers but this is what happens when Vince and his John Laureanitis call up muscle bodies from.nxt based on looks that are nowhere near ready to do this on the main stage safely. It happened when he was at the helm before apparently in the 00s/10s and its happening here and will continue judging by the stock in nxt getting pushes when they can barely do a safe suplex. This is what happens when you het rid of all the "indie darlings " Vince hates abd replace with failed footballers n other sports people who have 0 prior training or experience..sad shit. Update from E. In terms of a neck injury, about as good as it can be. No surgery needed, no displacements, no torn ligaments.

I can think of a couple situations where guys end up with neck injuries working with people we know are “good workers”. Stuff happens sadly.
