Big E On Almost Becoming A Member Of The Shield

Well, we know of him as "The New Day," that's why...
I could see big E being in the enforcer role in a Taz kinda way. Always just standing there, folded arms with a scowl on his face. Like he said, it all worked out for the best, but I don't think it would have been bad had he been part of it.

I just can’t see it lol but could be just cuz we are used to that not being the case. It’s just hard to picture it.
This is why. We are just used to the "New Day" gimmick. Along with the funny gags. And, actually most of the time, Big E was this stoic, quiet guy in the background until he was able to crack out some jokes.
I can definitely picture Big E in the original incarnation of the shield but what I can't picture is how much that would have changed everything in the years that follow lol
It would've worked if the sequence was Big E joins The Shield and becomes a threat, like the Taz idea above. And joins The New Day later.

Look at Seth Rollins, he's now no longer the serious threat, he's more of a "Joker" threat, so either way, Big E could've worked.
