BIG Drew McIntyre SPOILER for this Friday

Matt Hardy comes out to a nice pop. He's in jeans and shirt. He has a mic. Says he is here whether he should or shouldn't be. Replay of McIntyre giving him his injury 2 weeks ago and last week. Matt starts to comment; McIntyre comes out on the ramp.

Matt tells Drew to "make him go away". Drew brags about Vince hand picking him as the future of the company. Matt and Drew continue their exchange. They brawl. Refs break it up as a loud Hardy chant breaks out. Drew gets the upper hand and throws the ref down. Tony Garea and Mike Rotundo run down to help the refs.

Teddy Long order Drew to stop. Long suspends Drew but he doesn't stop attacking Matt. Long strips McIntyre of the WWE Intercontinental title! Drew doesn't care. Long then fires Drew! Drew gets in Long's face. Long orders the officials to get Drew "off Smackdown!". Video shows Drew being escorted out of the building by an army of refs. Drew mentions Vince McMahon's name on the way out.

Long is backstage. Matthews interviews him. He doesn't know the status of Hardy, doesn't know what to say about Drew, and doesn't know what to do about the IC title.

Well not that big, but still I would have never guessed this would happen. Cody so has that IC belt while Drew is destined for main event. He could definitely go to Raw, but that is pretty lame since it is right after the draft, he should have just been drafted.

These were my first thoughts too, until I remembered the Mr. McMahon character had supposedly been killed off by Bret Hart, and that McMahon appearing while Hart was still lingering too would seem really odd.

The way in which this went just really summed up why Drew's Intercontinental Title reign sucked so bad. I mean, I didn't like the guy, but the title literally meant nothing the whole time he held it. Were any of his feuds about the title aside from the guy he beat for it? No. Did anyone ever make any reference to wanting to chase the title while he was champion? No. Did he ever take any pride in being champion? No. The way in which his title reign ended, with him feuding with a guy in a feud that didn't involve the title, and again ignoring the thread that he'd lose the title was just so perfect in summarising up how shitty this reign was.

Even worse? The results that follow to do with the Intercontinental Title.

Anyways, good riddens, never come back. The only bad thing about this is a certain someone who was in/won an IC title qualifying match, sigh.
