Exactly, CMS. In fact, the only really bad Batist amatches I remember have been with guys such as Show and Kane and Khali. Basically, the huge guys. If he's wrestling guys like Orton, Triple H, Cena, Punk, and even Edge and Taker, he can put on a good match.

orton vs batista armageddon 2008 wasn't a good match.

batista seems to work at best against undertaker or HHH. Edge would be 3rd and hbk 4th.

Re: in-ring work...

Lets's not confuse 'sufficient' or 'passable' with 'good' or 'great'.

(Also worth noting the callibre of worker on Beer Money's above list...)

His fued & matches with Taker were well booked, but aside from that the only match of his I can recall particularly getting into was vs HBK @ ONS last year or when he was in the EC with HHH in 2005.

His best match imo was his Hell In A Cell match against Triple H.

Big Dave is a bit hit and miss in my eyes, when he has a good go and is in there with a good opponent he can put on a solid match. The problem is the guy is limited, he can't talk on the mic without people losing interest and frankly his overall ring work is too inconsistent.

His character, as it has been mentioned, is simply too one-dimensional. I feel a nice heel turn could open some more doors for him. What about when he was acting heelish with HBK after the 2008 draft? I found Dave much more interesting then, even if it was short-lived.

Will I miss him when he's gone? Not too much. I can't deny that he does have a place in WWE but he's not one of those vital guys IMO.

If anything I say It's just a shame he didn't get into wrestling earlier.
