Bianca Belair taking time off

Bianca Belair is reportedly taking time off.

Fightful Select reported on Tuesday that Belair is taking anywhere from under a month to “possibly three months” off. Back at WWE SummerSlam earlier this month, Belair had won the WWE Women’s Championship from Asuka in a three-way match involving Charlotte Flair. However, IYO SKY and the rest of Damage CTRL made their way to the ring, with SKY cashing in and defeating Belair to win the championship for the first time.

Belair & Flair then teamed together to defeat Bayley and SKY in a match on the August 18 edition of SmackDown. However, Damage CTRL attacked the knee of Belair after the match, playing off a knee injury from SummerSlam. In their report, Fightful noted that the knee injury was just a storyline.

It was also noted in Fightful’s report that Belair received praise for her run with the WWE Women’s Championship, noting the media schedule and the community events she would take part in.

Well I'm not a fan of hers but seeing her go worries me given the current Smackdown roster. They only have Shitzi, Zelina, Michin and Charlotte as babyfaces and I'm afraid of whom they'll push now, as it's probably not going to be Vega.
