Beth Phoenix leaving WWE soon?

Do they still have the 90 day no compete when contracts run out, or is that just when released?

I believe they wouldn't have a 90 day release clause, because they've obviously let their contracts expire. And it's not a case of WWE releasing somebody and then having that talent not work anywhere for 90 days.

Pity that she is leaving but it wont have any impact on the actual product since she hadn't been used for quite sometime and even during her title reign she was an after thought. WWE scaling back the divas division quite noticeably, they really must believe that there is no money in it for them. TNA could be an option if she still wants to wrestle and maybe she will make an appearance or two in ROH.

Sad news indeed but really, what else was there for her to do? The ceiling is set so low for the Divas that Beth has practically exhausted all angles, opponents and accomplishments.

But at least she's leaving on good terms. The best thing they can still do with her is put someone like Kaitlyn over, or at least give us the damn Beth/Nattie match most of us have been begging for.

Honestly they should have her wrestling dudes which they kind of flirted with. Wouldn't have minded her feuding with a guy in a serious angle. Yeah it would be Chyna all over again but difference is she can actually cut a promo.

I said complete package Deezy something Natty isn't. I always hear people bring up Natty, which is fine because she can work. In terms of mic work and being a character, she's an absolute bore and her voice doesn't connect well. Why do you think her title run in 2010 was so weak? She would be in the commentary booth with Cole and her comebacks from Cole's insults were awful. Natty just doesn't have to be a big time diva.

It was about six to eight months ago when she started to be a full heel. I wasn't really into wrestling at the time when she was with Santino. Her title run was pretty awesome and something really enjoyable. Beth will always be a level above Natty which isn't a bad thing but Beth just comes off as more dominant and more believable. Natty's awful facial expressions and lack of charms hurts. Why do you think they put the title on Beth and don't say because she was going out with Punk because they broke up before Punk was becoming the number two guy in the company last summer.

I know was a while ago hence why I said when she actually got a shot at doing so which for divas is few and far between. Even if you go to something more recently for Beth when she got a little mic time during her divas of doom thing she was the better of the two in her and Nattie. Point is she has mic skills just only got to show it on a normal basis when she was with Santino.

Cant blame her WWE haven't used her correctly in ages, even in her last Divas Title run she could barely even beat the likes of Kelly Kelly and now she's jobbing to Eve and Kaitlyn. There's really nothing for her in the WWE, it'd be good to see her have a stint in Shimmer or have a few more matches with Melina on the independents. Those 2 produced some of the best WWE/TNA women's matches in ages. But the Womens division in WWE and TNA for that matter is a joke now, Divas in particular have had nothing interesting happen since Maryse left :maryse:

I agree that her current character is a bore but if WWE actually tweaked it and pushed her it could change. It wouldn't take much to make her stand out in the Divas division and if WWE were desperate they could always bring in Bret Hart again to give her the rub.

Have always been a Beth fan and I think to lose someone with her experience would be a loss, she is one of the most respected females on the roster and knows how to put younger talent over effectively and still has good matches often.
