E.T. is just a good time all around, love that movie so it gets my vote. I don’t dislike the recent Ape films and Dawn isn’t bad but I prefer E.T.

This is much closer than that vote would suggest for me. Dawn is not only excellent, but maybe the best Apes film ever (yes even better than the original). I remember getting emotionally swepted up in it in the cinema. In the end I went E.T. because it has stood the test of time and is still a classic all these years later.
